La visita includerà i giardini storici, il monumento a Colombo e le Terme Califfali, uno spazio unico che riflette lo splendore del passato islamico di Cordova. Salta le lunghe code alla Moschea-Cattedrale di Cordova dell'VIII secolo e ammira la sua foresta di colonne e doppi archi. Ammira il mihrab (abside) dell'ex moschea e poi fai una passeggiata nel quartiere ebraico per visitare il mercato arabo e la statua in bronzo del filosofo sefardita medievale Maimonide. Termina con un tour inside dell'Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, una delle residenze primarie di Isabella I di Castiglia e Ferdinando II d'Aragona. Alcázar DE los Reyes Cristianos, una delle residenze primarie di Isabella I di Castiglia e Ferdinando II d'Aragona. Entra dal cancello d'ingresso principale e immergiti nella meravigliosa architettura del palazzo, situato sul sito di una fortezza costruita dai Visigoti e successivamente occupata dal Califfato di Cordova.
Cammineremo per il quartiere ebraico per visitare la sinagoga, il mercato arabo e la statua in bronzo del filosofo sefardita medievale, Maimonide.
Visita la spettacolare bellezza della Moschea-Cattedrale di Cordova, uno dei monumenti più visitati in Spagna. Conservando lo stile decorativo di una moschea islamica, la costruzione del magnifico monumento iniziò nell'VIII secolo. Today was one of those travel days that reminds you just how powerful it can be to stand in places where history actually happened. 🌉 We walked across the incredible Roman Bridge of Córdoba, imagining the countless people who have crossed it over the centuries. 👑 We visited the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, where Christopher Columbus met with King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella as he sought support for his voyage across the Atlantic. Standing in a place connected to a moment that would ultimately change the course of world history was pretty incredible. 🕌⛪ And then came the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba (Mezquita-Catedral). This one was different. Walking through its famous arches and seeing the layers of Islamic and Christian history woven together in one extraordinary place was deeply moving and surprisingly emotional. ❤️ There are places you visit because they’re beautiful…and then there are places you feel. Today, Córdoba was both.

Our guide was amazing and very informative. Why 3 stars not 5 was the fact that they know the castle was closed for renovations and they still advise it in the pkg. They will message your the night before to inform you. So just book the mosque/cahthedral and that is sufficient

Interesting history walk but maybe a bit too long in July when heat hits 38+. By the end we were flagging

Unfortunately the castle is closed since in reform but the tour really is worth the price. Our guide was very good and the heat does not prevent a unique experience.

This was an amazing walking tour of Córdoba. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable on the history of all the places we visited. Easy walking for all abilities. The highlight is the Mesquita, but the other sites are fabulous too. The company is excellent with their communication. Highly recommend
