La funivia di Tsakhkadzor si trova su un pendio del monte Teghenis. Dall'altezza di 2819 m, dove la seggiovia veloce ti porterà in 32 minuti, tutta l'Armenia è visibile a colpo d'occhio - con tempo sereno, offre una vista mozzafiato sul Monte Ararat.
Il lago Sevan è il più grande specchio d'acqua dell'Armenia e della regione del Caucaso. È uno dei più grandi laghi d'alta quota (alpini) d'acqua dolce in Eurasia. Il lago si trova nella provincia di Gegharkunik, a un'altitudine di 1.900 m (6.234 piedi) sul livello del mare. La superficie totale del suo bacino è di circa 5.000 km2 (1.900 miglia quadrate), che costituisce 1⁄6 del territorio armeno. Il lago stesso è 1.242 km2 (480 sq mi), e il volume è 32,8 km3 (7,9 cu mi). È alimentato da 28 fiumi e torrenti. Solo il 10% dell'acqua in entrata viene drenata dal fiume Hrazdan, mentre il restante 90% evapora.
Sevanavank è un complesso monastico situato su una penisola sulla sponda nord-occidentale del lago Sevan nella provincia di Gegharkunik in Armenia, non lontano dalla città di Sevan. Inizialmente il monastero fu costruito sulla sponda meridionale di una piccola isola. Dopo il prosciugamento artificiale del lago Sevan, iniziato all'epoca di Joseph Stalin, il livello dell'acqua è sceso di circa 20 metri e l'isola si è trasformata in una penisola. Sulla sponda meridionale di questa penisola appena creata, è stata costruita una foresteria dell'Unione degli scrittori armeni. La sponda orientale è occupata dalla residenza estiva del presidente armeno, mentre il seminario ancora attivo del monastero si è trasferito in edifici di nuova costruzione sulla sponda settentrionale della penisola. Secondo un'iscrizione in una delle chiese, il monastero di Sevanavank fu fondato nell'874 dalla principessa Mariam, figlia di Ashot.
Dilijan (armeno: Դիլիջան) è una città termale e una comunità municipale urbana nella provincia di Tavush in Armenia. Solitamente chiamata Svizzera Armena o Piccola Svizzera dai locali, è una delle località più importanti dell'Armenia, situata all'interno del Parco Nazionale di Dilijan. La città boscosa e solitaria ospita numerosi artisti, compositori e registi armeni e presenta un'architettura tradizionale armena. La via Sharambeyan nel centro, è stata conservata e mantenuta come una "città vecchia", completa di botteghe artigiane, una galleria e un museo. L'escursionismo, la mountain bike e il picnic sono attività ricreative popolari.
Haghartsin è un monastero del XIII secolo situato vicino alla città di Dilijan nella provincia di Tavush in Armenia. Fu costruito tra il X e il XIII secolo (nel XII sotto Khachatur di Taron); gran parte di esso sotto il patrocinio della dinastia Bagratuni. Il monastero di Haghartsin, insieme a quello di Goshavank, potrebbe entrare a far parte di un sito naturale basato sull'area protetta statale del Parco nazionale di Dilijan, un'importante foresta nell'Armenia nord-orientale. Il monastero di Haghartsin ha subito un'importante ristrutturazione da parte del Fondo Armenia con la donazione di Sua Altezza il Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, Sovrano di Sharjah.

Our first guided tour and the best. I storngly recommend Gira Travels to all visiting Armenia or Georgia. We had done 6 day 5 night tour to Georgia with our wonderful guide Arman. We covered most of Georgia and are more than happy with the trip. As we travelled with a one year old this trip was more than gratifying..thanks to Gira Travels. What I liked about them is they are very understanding and you can provide an itinerary that suits your requiremnt.( Not many travel operators do that) Very accomodative in that regard. They give you enough time to see and enjoy the place. Above all they are quite reasonable. We were also able to do paragliding and it was a subliminal experience. We keenly look forward to visit Armenia with the same Travels.

Had so much fun going to the Tzaghkadzor Ropeway and experiencing snow. Mr. Arman was our guide for the day and he’s really kind and knows a lot about Armenian history and culture. I really learned a lot from him. He was also very supportive in taking photos and he speaks English really well. He even took us to a secret place not listed in the itinerary! I would recommend booking tours in Gira since we got our money’s worth. Can’t wait to go back!
