Dopo aver visto la Chiesa di Tekije, il luogo di una famosa battaglia tra gli Ottomani e gli Asburgo, il momento clou da ammirare è la vista mozzafiato dalla Fortezza di Petrovaradin situata sulla roccia vulcanica alta 40 m sopra il Danubio. Qui imparerai a conoscere il complicato labirinto di tunnel e gallerie sotterranee, parte del sistema di difesa all'avanguardia.
L'ultima tappa del tuo tour è il centro storico della capitale della Vojvodina, Novi Sad, dove una piacevole passeggiata con la tua guida ti porterà oltre la Cattedrale ortodossa, il Palazzo del Vescovo e il monumento al grande poeta serbo Zmaj, terminando in Piazza della Libertà, sede del municipio barocco e della chiesa cattolica neogotica. Durante un'ora e mezza di tempo libero, esplora il centro di Novi Sad da solo o semplicemente siediti e rilassati osservando la gente del posto. Srdjan wears many hats-tour guide extraordinaire, writer, book publisher, lecturer, historian, and entrepreneur just to name a few! We were fortunate to have him as our tour guide and think we learned more Serbia, Yugoslavian history in 8 hours then we would have ever learned in a semester of college. His tour was outstanding! He was very accommodating with the schedule and made sure he answered every question we posed. He shared opinions and the reason for his conclusion. He showed us so many things that only a well educated local would know. Gave us advice about what to do when we planned to explore the city on our no tour day. Srdjan was a very experienced guide that catered to our requests, spent a lot of time in the sites we visited and made sure we had a grasp of the history and sites. He truly is exceptional! The day was over before we knew it. Thank you again Srdjan for sharing your knowledge and love of your country
Nit only very informative but also reveals a side of zserbia not usually understood. As a result of this tour I better understand the long relationship between Serbs and Austria and Hungary
Four of us visited Belgrade in the 2nd week of June and we had opted for the private tour to Novi Sad and Vojvodina, a day excursion from the city, offered by Explore Belgrade. It is a fantastic tour, the drive through lush green agricultural Serbia is lovely, the destinations en route are very interesting and steeped in history. For the buffs, it is a very fascinating insight into the region’s past, the glory days, turmoil & upheavals. The most credit for making this an extraordinary tour however must go to our guide – Соня Девиц (Sonja Devic). Her passion, her deep involvement and insight into the subject, along with her comfort with English language certainly made the tour far more fascinating. She was ever smiling, articulate, quick wit and interactive. She added another interesting facet to the day by introducing us to Cyrillic script! (That is of course how I learnt to write her name in Cyrillic) I certainly recommend the tour as a ‘must do’ excursion and if you can, insist on being guided by her.

<p>Our tour guide Sonja was absolutely amazing. She was very knowledgeable and had a lot of interesting information. We had booked for 6 of us and we all enjoyed the experience. The Monastery was my favourite, so peaceful. Novi Sad was beautiful, we had enough time to explore on our own. And a huge thank you to our driver Dejan, he was very aware of our safety and comfort during our trip. Would highly recommend this tour.</p>
<p>Our guide Mr Milan came to pick us up for the tour and he was so knowledgable. He knew every answer to all our questions..from history, religion to culture and architecture you name it. He is also very thoughful about our lunch and shopping time and even suggested on what and where to eat.</p>
<p>We took a trip of 12 people on this full day tour and weren't disappointed. The sights were great and the guide was excellent. His passion, knowledge and detail were really impressive. A really good tour overall.</p>
