Il tour inizia alle 8:00 dal tuo alloggio a Belgrado.
Rimarrai colpito dallo splendido scenario, mentre ti godrai 1 ora e mezza di auto fino alla nostra prima tappa: il Monastero di Manasija, situato tra le verdi colline della vivace gola di Resava. Fu costruito all'inizio del XV secolo durante il regno del despota Stefan Lazarevic. L'intero complesso è circondato da 12 torri, costruite per proteggere la Chiesa di Santa Trinità dagli Ottomani. La fortificazione del monastero di Manasija, con i suoi bastioni e torri, è il complesso fortificato meglio conservato sul territorio della Serbia medievale. Grazie ai suoi affreschi, che rappresentano una delle più grandi conquiste dell'arte serba medievale, si ritiene che il monastero sia un vero gioiello della cultura medievale serba.
Il tour procede alla grotta di 80 milioni di anni fa chiamata Resava, scoperta dal pastore locale nel 1962. Dieci anni dopo, la grotta è stata aperta per la prima volta al pubblico. Al giorno d'oggi questa è una delle grotte più visitate in questa parte d'Europa per la sua ricchezza di gioielli da caverna: stalagmiti e stalattiti. La lunghezza totale delle gallerie è di 4,5 km. Finora sono stati esplorati più di 2 km e 800 m sono accessibili ai visitatori. La temperatura nella cava di Resava è costante di 7 ° C tutto l'anno, con un'umidità dell'aria variabile tra l'80 e il 100%. Il tour intorno alla grotta durerà per 40 minuti, quindi si consiglia di indossare vestiti caldi.

Excellent tour! Jelena our guide, is a font of information. The cave in particular was spectacular and fantastic rock formations. Milan our driver was great. Supplied with cold water gratis as well as tastings of Serbian rakjia.

I loved the experience! The trip was very well planned. We didn't waste a single minute nor felt in hurry. The guide Jelena was excellent, very friendly and helpful. She had a deep knowledge about places we were visiting, gave us plenty of truly useful tips which we tried in next days of our trip in Serbia and recommended very tasty food. We also stopped at sunflower field to take amazing pics and we had a tiny shot of rakija :) The driver was professional and jolly, the car - cozy and in good condition.

I had an unforgettable experience from start to finish on this tour while visiting Belgrade. As I was short on time, I booked this tour for the same day I landed. My flight arrived at 5:00 a.m., and I was worried that if there were any delays or complications, I might miss the pickup. I explained my concerns to the team, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. They arranged a closer pickup location so I didn’t have to travel into the city centre, and I was collected by the driver—a genuinely kind and friendly gentleman, who I believe was the father of the family. I want to highlight that Serbia Inspired Tours is a family-run business, and I was fortunate enough to meet most of the family during the day. From the moment I arrived, I was treated like one of their own. I was welcomed by one of the sisters, Nina, who was incredibly warm and friendly. Although the parents didn’t speak English, it never mattered—their kindness and hospitality spoke for themselves. After arriving at the meeting point, I joined the tour with our driver, Milan, and our guide, Mihajlo, who stepped in at the last minute after the original guide became unwell. Milan was fantastic. Even with limited English, he shared fascinating insights about Serbia that I never would have discovered otherwise. Mihajlo was equally outstanding—his knowledge was incredible, and his passion for Serbian history, culture, and every destination we visited made the experience so much more engaging. He was informative, enthusiastic, and happy to answer every question. I want to thank every single person I met throughout the day. I had a fantastic experience on today’s tour. It was informative, entertaining and filled with fascinating history, delicious food, beautiful scenic stops and plenty of laughter. As a solo female traveller, I really appreciated the excellent communication from the company from start to finish. Jelena was an amazing guide—friendly, knowledgeable and engaging, with perfect English. She adapted the tour to the group’s interests and regularly checked that everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Ljuba was a fantastic driver and, as it turned out, also a secret donkey whisperer, which gave us all a good laugh! From start to finish, this tour was nothing short of amazing. Jelena was such a wonderful guide. Warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient.
