Tour Privato Parmigiano Reggiano Prosciutto di Parma e Castello

Descrizione

If you want a quick guide into what Parma food is all about, then I would highly recommend Artemelia. Our guide Michelle has a gastronomic knowledge that will leave you extremely well fed - not just in the stomach but also cerebrally. You won’t be disappointed.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review! It was a real pleasure guiding you and sharing the best our region has to offer. Thank you again for choosing Artemilia. If you ever return to the area, we would be delighted to welcome you back as our guests. Warm regards, Michelle Valeria Costa
Roberta was amazing! The tour was fantastic! Very interesting to see how prosciutto and parmigiana are made. The castle was so cool!
Dear Susan, thank you for your kind words. We’re happy to hear you had a great time with Roberta. Visiting the producers and then exploring the castle creates a unique combination of flavors and history, and we’re so glad you enjoyed it. We hope to welcome you back with the rest of your family someday! Best regards, Michelle Costa
This was truly a one of a kind experience and something I will never forget. I My three girlfriends and I got to enjoy two separate tours/experiences with Michelle and Beatrice. The first one was a truffle hunting experience where we got the walk along the hillsides of Parma with Francesco and his dog, Lola, to learn how truffles are grown, harvested, and used in their local dishes. Francesco was then gracious to cook us a homemade meal of meats and fresh pasta (with truffles of course). We also had so much fun spending the day with Michelle as she is incredibly kind, personable, and knowledgeable about the region she grew up in. We then got the spend the day with the lovely Beatrice! We started off at the Parmesan factory where we actually got to be in the same room as the cheese makers and taste the best of the best. We then headed over to check out how balsamic vinegar is made and aged (and got to taste some of course). Next was lunch and wine time at the most stunning vineyard with delicious food. It was lovely to have Beatrice with us as she was eager and excited to answer our questions and get to know our group. Last stop was the Parma ham factory which was incredible and so interesting to learn about. And obviously tasting it was a bonus. Overall, 100000000 stars this was so worth it to me and my friends and something we will always look back fondly on! Thank you Michelle and Beatrice! <3
Dear Kalista, We are so filled with joy to hear that you loved all the companies we chose for you and the people you met along the way. There is no greater satisfaction for us. Thank you for your wonderful words and for the joyful days spent together. We hope to be able to meet you here in Emilia Romagna soon. Best regards, Michelle Costa
My friends and I had two unforgettable tours with Michelle and Bea in Parma. The first was a truffle hunting experience where we got to see a truffle-hunting dog in action and then were fed the most delicious truffle-themed meal I had in all my time in Italy. Michelle sat and ate with us and it was truly lovely to pick her brain and learn from her wealth of knowledge on the region. The next day we had an all-day food tour with Bea where we visited local businesses producing Parmesan, vinegar, wine, and prosciutto. The tastings were incredible and we learned SO MUCH from our guide. It’s truly incredible we had access to see these businesses in action behind-the-scenes thanks to ARTEMILA. THANK YOU ARTEMILA for these incredible tours and memories! I can’t wait to come back for more.
Thank you for your amazing review! It was such a pleasure to guide you and your friends. We love to take our guests off the beaten track so that they can have an authentic experience of the area and take them to see the processes for which the region is famous up close. It warms our hearts to know that you loved the experiences you had with us and will keep wonderful memories. We hope to meet you soon. Best regards, Michelle Costa
The entire experience was very entertaining and informative. Barbara, our tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable.
If you ever want to experience what Emilia Romagna has to offer, Artemilia Tours is where you should start. We booked the Parma Hillside Private Food Tour and were not disappointed. Our guide Michelle made us immediately feel comfortable and easily switched between Italian and English to accommodate our family (travelling with our teen daughters who understand but do not speak Italian fluently). From the time we initially booked, I knew we were in good hands. Michelle reached out immediately to discuss a convenient meeting point in Parma, accommodating all our requests. I requested a hilltop lunch be added to our base tour and without hesitation, Michelle made it happen. She brought us to a wonderful restaurant with magnificent views of the Parma valley. Simply gorgeous! Michelle guided this tour with passion and kept us informed and entertained throughout the day together. Her knowledge of the region and in this case it’s amazing food heritage, was simply amazing. And yes the food tastings throughout the tour were delicious 😀 I would highly recommend Michelle and Artemilia Tours if you want to experience what Emilia Romagna has to offer.
The tour and tasting with Laura was absolutely incredible! She was extremely knowledgeable about everything at all three sites, and she appreciated everything we saw right there with us--from the beauty of the "dance' of making the Parmigiana Reggiano, through the love story of Bianca Pellegrino. It definitely felt, all throughout the tour, that we were going off the beaten path for the most authentic experience possible. I cannot recommend this tour with Laura highly enough.
Dear Andrea, Thanks for taking the time to write a review, we are glad you enjoyed everything and you felt you were taking an authentic experience 💛 we hope you enjoyed the ride through the beautiful Parma hillside too and hope to have a chance to meet you in the Emilia Romagna Region again. All the best, Michelle
What a powerful experience! Michelle of Artemilia, our lovely guide. Outstanding competence and limitless passion for the arts, architecture, history and gastronomy of Parma. My children and I have visited local producers of Parma’s treasures: Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma and traditional Balsamic Vinegar. We have met authentic Masters at work! They welcome us, showed us the production process and, of course, guided us through a delightful tasting of their finest products. We have all fallen in love with Parma and we certainly will see Michelle again for more!
Dear Jessica, I don't know how to thank you for your kind words! It was a pleasure to meet you and your family and I am waiting for you to discover the perfume supply chain in Parma and other unusual itineraries in the Emilia area we talked about! Looking forward to meeting you, Warm regards, Michelle
Michelle was absolutely fantastic. We took the train from Milan to Parma and they switched their pick up and drop off location for us to the train station. It probably added 45 min Rita for the tour. She is the most passionate and informative guide. We asked A LOT of questions and she knew all the answers. She clearly loves her city and it shows. Such a nice and fun person to spend the day with!!! Guido the driver was fantastic too on very very skinny roads!
Dear Renae, I really don't know how to thank you for your ever so kind words! It was a pleasure to help you arrange another meeting place. Thank you for your kindness and sympathy and for all the stories you wished to share. I hope to meet you with all your children soon here in Emilia! A warm hug from Parma, Michelle
Excellent tour. We had a morning in Parmigiano-Reggiani factory. It's was great. Amazing and informative to see the cheese making in progress. The salting room, nurturies and maturing caves. We got lucky a had a chance to taste Fresh Ricotta cheese 😊 it's not made every day. Afternoon in Antica Corte Pallavicina ... The Culatello museum. We got to find out about the history of the castle, region, black pigs, culatello and the Maestro Guiseppe Verdi. It's located in beside Po river in secluded fairy tale location. We got to taste all the cheese's, meats and salami. Thank you Michelle we couldn't think of better tour. 😊😊😊 💓💓💓
