We had a wonderful day going to St Andrew’s w a stop for lunch in the Tom Morris grill! The drive was beautiful and we also had time to see the university and Edinburgh! A great day with Alan!
We booked this tour from our South Queensferry port stop in our British Isles cruise. We are so glad we did. Allen was an excellent guide. We had a fantastic day that met all of our bucket list stops for St. Andrews. Highly recommend!
Our guide, Calais, was fun, knowledgable, engaged, and flexible. Adapted our day to fit in a coastal walk that we requested. His knowledge of Scotland and Scottish history made our trip come alive. Would jump at the opportunity to tour with Calais again.

Calais (our tour guide) picked us up on time and we started our adventure to St Andrews and Lindores Whisky full day tour. Calais was amazing. He was full of great conversation and knowledge of all of the little stops along the way as well as the intended tour sites. The place he picked for lunch was incredible and he introduced us to new cuisine. Calais answered all of our question and then some. It was a truly memorable day. The entire tour was phenomenal. Sandy’s knowledge of history and culture combined with his remarkable sense of humor made for a very informative and entertaining experience.
We had a fabulous day with our guide Laura. She was very knowledge, personable and accommodating. We visited the town and castle in Falkland, played the Himalayas putting course at St. Andrews, which was a hoot, lunch at the clubhouse, visited the university and ruins of the St Andrew's cathedral, then stopped at a seaside village on our way home. The whole day was great fun and informative.
We took this trip and it was amazing. Our guide hazel was super. Not only did we get to see st Andrews golf course we had lunch in the clubhouse. She stopped at several stops not on the itinerary and gave us lots of information. Would definitely recommend if you want to see the home of golf.
