La Rainbow Mountain (chiamata anche Vinicunca o semplicemente 'montagna dei colori') è una delle nuove e migliori attrazioni del Perù. Situato a più di 100 chilometri dalla città di Cusco, su un vertice altitudinale situato a 5.200 metri sul livello del mare. È una formazione montuosa tinta in varie tonalità a causa della complessa combinazione di minerali. Le pendici e la vetta si tingono di varie tonalità tra cui rosso, viola, verde, giallo, rosa e altre varianti. Questa attrazione turistica è stata circondata dal ghiaccio non molti anni fa. Dal 2016, questo luogo ha ricevuto centinaia di visitatori al giorno, diventando, insieme a Machu Picchu, uno dei luoghi più visitati di Cusco-Perù.

L'escursione inizia quando il nostro trasporto privato ti viene a prendere al tuo hotel alle 4:00 circa, per poi viaggiare per circa due ore fino alla città di Cusipata dove si trova il nostro ristorante, lì faremo colazione per circa mezz'ora e poi proseguire il viaggio in auto per circa un'ora.
Dopo colazione viaggeremo per circa un'ora e poi inizieremo l'escursione alla Rainbow Mountain per circa due ore, durante l'escursione potremo osservare l'impressionante paesaggio e la variegata fauna andina alta come alpaca e lama, essendo già a in cima al belvedere della Rainbow Mountain avremo il tempo di goderci il panorama e scattare foto spettacolari. Dopodiché cammineremo per altri 30 minuti per raggiungere il punto panoramico della valle rossa, finalmente torneremo al nostro mezzo di trasporto che ci porterà al ristorante per gustare un delizioso pranzo a buffet. Il tour terminerà quando arriveremo al tuo hotel nel pomeriggio.

An amazing experience! The place is absolutely beautiful, and our guide, Freddy, was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. He took great care of the entire group and provided excellent recommendations throughout the tour. Everything was very well organized, and the logistics ran smoothly from start to finish. It was a very good day trip. The Views for both Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley are extremely beautiful. You can just stare at the valleys and mountain all day.Hilton was a good guide , helpful and let everyone experience the day at their own pace. Food was diverse, you should find something you would like enjoy. I definitely recommend booking

Our visit to Rainbow Mountain was incredible! The views were stunning, but what really made the day special was our guide, Fredy. He was kind, attentive, and shared lots of interesting information throughout the hike.
