Amazing day with Hazel ! Thank you Hazel
Have a wonderful day with our guide Hazel. She was informative, accommodating, and full of knowledge.!
We had a wonderful time on our private tour. Experienced tours allowed us to make our own itinerary. Alan was delightful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He shared interesting stories and facts about the places we visited. I would highly recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Scotland, and we will definitely use their services again.
Amazing day! My tour guide for the day, Debbie, picked my up at my hotel right on time and we set off on our tour. She was exceptional and explained the plan for the day and asked me if there was anything in particular I wanted to see. Since this was my first trip ever to Scotland, I left it up to her to select the spots she thought would have been of interest and she did. There wasn't one stop on the tour that did not fail to be breathtaking. The outstanding weather we had didn't hurt the overall experience either. And as the tour went on, it became more like touring the countryside with a good friend and not just a tour guide. On my next trip to Scotland, I will most definitely book another tour with Experienced Tours.
Our day trip with Experienced Tours was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Our guide Laura was very knowledgeable and handled our day-of request to add a distillery to the tour with expert planning and ease. She was very friendly and personable as well as being a great driver.
Truly enjoyable and informative day trip with an outstanding guide / driver Calais. The Lindores Abbey distillery tour and tasting was excellent. The stop at Dewars distillery for lunch was also delightful with great lunch offerings. Finally finding the elusive highland cow in the winter was made simple by Calais, enjoyed seeing these majestic animals and taking pictures. All in all an outstanding trip to the Scottish Low/Highlands.
Our group of six friends did the Highlands, Whisky, and Castles private tour from Edinburgh. Sandy was quick to respond to all my questions when planning the day trip and helping to tailor the itinerary to our interests and customize a couple of the stops. Communication and follow-up during the booking process was great, and our guide, Calais, arrived early to pick us up - the car was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Calais was an exceptional tour guide, super friendly and personable. He provided great stories and history during the drive and castle tour (definitely more interesting than the standard audio tour!), and kept us on pace throughout the day while not making anything feel rushed. The whisky and chocolate pairing at Lindores Abbey Distillery was fantastic - beautiful tasting room and facility, we all really enjoyed the whisky and local chocolates. We had a great day - perfect way to get out of Edinburgh for the day and see more of Scotland during our trip. I look forward to touring with Experienced Tours in the future!
We were two couples on a private full-day tour, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The itinerary offered a great mix of different stops – a bit of everything, always interesting and engaging. Our guide, Rob, truly made the day special! He shared lots of entertaining and fascinating stories, and his deep knowledge of both historical events and the places we visited was very impressive. Lunch was delicious, and everything was extremely well organized from start to finish. On top of that, Rob was genuinely friendly, sociable, and had a great sense of humor – a real pleasure to spend the day with. We can highly recommend this tour, and if you can, ask for Rob as your guide – you won’t be disappointed!
This was my second visit to Scotland and second time using Experienced Tours. We spent the day with Debbie visiting the Scottish countryside. We stopped at a lovely castle, toured a whiskey distillery and stopped to feed the highland cows. It was a really great day and both the adults and teen enjoyed the tour. I have recommended Experienced Tours to friends and will continue to do so. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if we make a return visit to Scotland.
