Il tour può iniziare la mattina alle 9:00 o il pomeriggio alle 13:00 – l’orario di partenza è flessibile per darvi il massimo comfort. Verremo a prendervi dal vostro hotel e inizieremo ad esplorare il centro di Cusco. Cusco, anche scritto Cuzco, è una città nel sud-est del Perù, conosciuta come la capitale storica del Perù ed ex capitale dell'Impero Inca. Scoprirai la Plaza de Armas, la famosa 12 Angled Stone, Loreto Street e alcune delle strade e degli edifici più importanti della città.
Dalla Plaza de Armas, camminerai con la tua Guida a Koricancha (Qorikancha), il tempio più importante dell'Impero Inca. Il suo nome in quechua significa “Cortile d’oro”, perché un tempo era riccamente decorato d’oro. Qui vedrai la perfetta pietra inca e imparerai come questo luogo sacro veniva utilizzato per cerimonie, astronomia e adorazione del Sole.
Successivamente, guiderai con il tuo veicolo privato fino a Sacsayhuaman, uno dei siti Inca più impressionanti sopra Cusco. Questa enorme fortezza è famosa per le sue enormi mura di pietra, costruite con blocchi perfettamente montati, alcuni dei quali pesano più di 100 tonnellate. Mentre cammini attraverso il sito, la tua Guida ti spiegherà come gli Inca costruirono Sacsayhuaman e perché è considerato uno dei più grandi esempi della loro abilità ingegneristica e architettonica.
Poi visiterete Qenqo (scritto anche Q’enko o Kenko), un affascinante sito cerimoniale a pochi chilometri da Cusco. Il suo nome deriva da una parola quechua che significa “zigzag”, in riferimento ai canali scavati e alle forme tortuose nella roccia. Qui camminerai tra misteriosi altari, tunnel e pietre scolpite che venivano utilizzate per importanti rituali Inca. La tua Guida spiegherà perché Qenqo è considerato un luogo sacro (huaca) e condividerà le leggende e le storie legate a questo sito unico.
Successivamente, guiderai fino a Puca Pucara, che in quechua significa "Fortezza Rossa". Questo piccolo sito Inca fu probabilmente utilizzato come avamposto militare e posto di blocco sulla strada per la Valle Sacra e Machu Picchu. Da qui si può vedere una splendida vista sulle colline e le valli circostanti. Puca Pucara è solitamente visitata insieme a siti vicini come Tambomachay e Qenqo, rendendola una tappa perfetta per completare il tuo circuito di rovine Inca intorno a Cusco.
Successivamente, visiterai Tambomachay, un tranquillo sito Inca famoso per le sue fontane d'acqua cristallina e le pregiate opere in pietra. Spesso chiamato “Bagni Inca”, era probabilmente utilizzato per cerimonie sull’acqua e per il riposo dalla nobiltà Inca. Questo è un momento perfetto per godersi l'aria fresca di montagna, scattare foto e continuare ad acclimatarsi per il tuo prossimo viaggio a Machu Picchu.
Successivamente, ci si ferma al Cristo Blanco, la statua bianca di Cristo che si erge su una collina sopra Cusco. Da questo punto di vista si ottiene una vista panoramica mozzafiato di tutta la città, con i suoi tetti rossi, piazze e montagne circostanti. A perfect way to spend your first day in Cusco, and to understand the ways and culture of the Inka. Our guide, Roger Calsin, was of exceptional value. Rosmel was the reason we chose Trexperience. His diligence and prompt reply to my inquiries made me feel confident to book with the company. On the day of our arrival, our transfer to the hotel did not arrive on time. I texted him about the problem and he replied and assisted even though it was his day off. We booked a Private tour for 6d5n. Our guide - Rene was very instrumental in making our trip memorable. Not only is he very knowledgeable but he also cares about our well being. Constantly checking if we are breathing properly during our several hikes . Checking our O2 level and pulse rate and providing condor pee to inhale when needed. He is indeed a wonderful person and we are glad to have him as our guide. Our driver varies daily and they provided a safe drive and the car is spotless. Had an excellent experience with the private guided tour from TreXperience. Freddy was our guide and made the visit to a sacred valley and sites around Cusco most memorable. He charted out the best sites to visit given the limited time we had - one day tour for sacred valley and half day for Cusco.
