L'arco di Charents si trova vicino a Yerevan, tra il tempio pagano di Garni e il complesso del monastero cristiano di Geghard nel villaggio di Vokhchaberd. Il tempio pagano di Garni fu costruito nella seconda metà del I secolo dal re Trdat III. Questo è l'unico tempio pagano, che è stato conservato sul territorio dell'Armenia. Dopo l'adozione del cristianesimo divenne la residenza estiva di Khosrovadukht, sorella del re Trdat III. Fu distrutta nel 1679 da un terremoto. Parti, frammenti di graziose colonne e pietre murarie furono sparse intorno al tempio. Si suppone che il tempio fosse dedicato a Mithra, il dio del sole.
Il Monastero di Geghard è una delle più grandi strutture architettoniche medievali in Armenia. Geghard è completamente scavato in una grotta, è anche chiamato "monastero rupestre". Nel XII-XIII secolo, Kecharis era considerata un importante centro di culto dell'Armenia, che aveva una scuola superiore. Il complesso è costituito da tre chiese, due cappelle e un portico, ad ovest del quale, un'altra chiesa con relativo portico. Il tempio principale è la chiesa di San Gregorio, il primo edificio del monastero eretto da Grigor Magistros Pahlavuni nel 1003.
Il complesso monastico medievale del monastero di Kecharis si trova nella parte nordoccidentale della città di Tsaghkadzor. È degno di nota non solo per l'originalità architettonica, ma anche per la sua storia interessante. La sua formazione durò 220 anni, con oltre 150 anni di interruzioni. Tale destino fu dovuto alle peculiarità del periodo storico. La costruzione del monastero iniziò durante il regno della dinastia Bagratuni e fu continuata dalla dinastia Pahlavuni.

We did the private tour from Yerevan - Garni Temple - Symphony of Stone - Geghard Monastery - Tsaghkadzor sky-lift - Kecharis monastery. David the driver was so kind and hospitable, the car was clean, with AC, comfortable and provided with bottled of water. It’s recommended to purchase the entrance ticket directly from the office so no need to worry to queue for tickets at the entrance, especially during busy season. If you love snow, you will definitely love Armenia in December. The temperature is between -2 to +2 c Especially Tsaghkadzhor ropeway was out of the world - the mountains were full of snow and it was freezing - Gloves mandatory Lake sevan view was amazing from the top Mr Vezghan and Lalit from Jan Armenia were really nice
