Itinerario

I took this tour as a solo traveler wanting to see Rosslyn Chapel and some other sites. This itinerary was unique and seemed to fit my wants. Roddy was our tour guide and was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and great for conversation. I learned a lot and we saw some fantastic sites. I would book another tour with Heart of Scotland Tours.
This was a great tour. The bus was very comfortable. Our guide,Keith, was very knowledgeable, accommodating, funny, helpful, and really nice. The tour was as advertised. Overall we had a great day and thought this was worthwhile
Keith was an amazing guide, explained everything in a lovely way, 10/10 would repeat and recommend
What a fantastic day! We are history nerds, and had a fabulous time on this small Ish bus with people from all over the world. Our Guide Roddy, was nothing short of outstanding. The sites that we visited and the knowledge he had about everywhere we went was off the charts. Highlight for us was definitely walking on Hadrian‘s wall, but the entire day was a definite win and worth every penny.!!
Our guide Angela was super knowledgeable about all things Scottish history and I learned a lot. I really love the way she shares the information. She’s so animated and fun! She even had a cool playlist to accompany the tour. And when the weather was working against us, she still found us a cool option to see Hadrian’s Wall safely and check out another local attraction. She went above and beyond and we all had a really good time.
Hi Cheril, thanks for reviewing the tour and of course Angela’s legendary playlist!
The tour was amazing, we saw everything we wanted to see and even a bit more. Our guide, Angela, was very knowledgeable about the places we went to and the people of the time and she linked it all together with the present day and even with music that complimented the locations. We loved it!
Thanks for your 5 star review of Angela and Heart of Scotland Tours.
Excellent tour to get to Rosslyn Chapel and out to Hadrian’s Wall. Stops in quaint towns for lunch and picture opportunities. Driver was knowledgeable and it was a delightful day.
Sounds like you had a great day out on the Wee Red Bus. Thanks for joining us.
A friend recommended this tour to me, and I'm glad I listened! Rossyln Chapel was so charming, and we enjoyed Hadrian's wall, too. We loved the walk through the herd of sheep on our way to the wall and enjoyed the free time we had to explore the grounds. I could have used more time at Rossyln Chapel, but the day was already quite full. There were additional stops that broke up the drive, and our tour guide Roddy was terrific. This was advertised as a smaller group tour, and indeed it was. My husband and I agree that this tour was one of our favorite days of our two-week trip to the UK. Definitely recommend!
Hi Judy, thanks for booking our day trip to Rosslyn and Hadrian's Wall and taking the time to review Roddy.
Our guide, Roddy, really knew the area. He knew the sights along the entire way, and the stories behind them. He was very entertaining.
Thanks for your kind words about Roddy. It's great to hear you enjoyed the day so much.
