Itinerario

My husband and I absolutely loved this bike tour! We chose the e-bikes, which were fantastic because you can use as much or as little electric assistance as you want. They made it easy to enjoy the ride while still getting some exercise. Ricardo was an outstanding guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Edinburgh. He shared interesting history and local insights while making sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and had a great time. His very well-behaved pup, Lucy, was an unexpected bonus and quickly became everyone's favorite riding companion! The route was beautiful, and seeing Edinburgh by bike gave us a much better feel for the city than we would have gotten on foot or from a bus. We covered a lot of ground, saw incredible sights, and had so much fun along the way. If you're visiting Edinburgh, I highly recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip and, in our opinion, the best way to experience the city!
Ricky was awesome! So was Lucy.
We visited Edinburgh mid-July and had booked a tour with Ricky at the Edinburgh City Bike Tour. I LOVE bike tours and am a travel advisor and really wanted this experience for me, my husband, and adult daughter. Ricky does NOT disappoint. He is 110% prepared for everyone taking the tour - providing bikes, helmets, and even gloves and a windbreaker jacket if needed. We started in Edinburgh, Scotland (just a short walk from the Royal Mile) and toured through many places including Leith, which happened to be my favorite. He gives history lessons during the tour, stops for a few quick photo shoots and during our tour, we stopped at a local market in Leith, where we picked up some homemade brownies, cookies, and arancini. He recommended the arancini and he was right --- absolutely delicious! After our tour, I viewed my Life 360 to see where all we'd been and it was a full 3-1/2 hour circle, traveling at least an hour away from Edinburgh. I can't recommend this tour enough. Ricky, if we're ever in the area again, we'll be booking with you! If you're on the fence, book this tour. Ricky and his sidekick Lucy will give you the best 3-1/2 hour exploration tour. Lucy is his cute dog who happens to know the tour route just as well. Thanks again for a great time!!
Ricky took us on a wonderful e-bike tour of Edinburgh, then out to Portabello for coffee and cake and Leith. His knowledge of the area was great. A thoroughly pleasant morning
This was a great way to see the less traveled parts of Edinburgh. It was a beautiful day and a great ride
Great tour from Ricky and Emma. Nice way to get around the city and see some things that I otherwise wouldn’t have. Depending on where you were in the pack it could be hard to hear Ricky at times - some form of a microphone would be very helpful for this if possible! Would recommend the e-bike unless you’re looking for a workout, as there are some longer steeper bits that some people on hybrids struggled with.
Rick and his dog Lucy were great. Fun to see the places around Edinburgh a typical tourist doesn't see. Glad we chose a e-bike.
Ricardo and his very well behaved pup Lucy led us on a wonderful tour. The weather and sites were incredible. Highly recommend!
Stewart did a great job of leading the bike tour. He was mindful of people’s different pacing, and he included plenty of stops to talk about all things Scottish. We also liked moving beyond Edinburgh proper to see Leith and Portobello. This was a fantastic time.
Ricky was a great tour guide, he was knowledgeable about the history of Edinburgh and did a wonderful job keeping the group together. The e-bike is a great way to experience the city as you can cover more ground than by walking and see areas not accessible to cars.
