Jess was extremely knowledgeable in all things Oxford. Plus she seamlessly made adjustments to the tour to adjust to my partner’s situation physical needs, including periodic rest and snacks. A very enjoyable experience!
Jess was the best!! We asked for a private Alice in Wonderland tour in Oxford and the depth and breath of Jess’s knowledge was amazing! My adult daughter is an expert on all things Alice, and she was stunned at how much she learned from Jess. We walked all over spotting so many inspirations for the book, delved into the history of Alice’s family life as well as the life of Lewis Carroll (aka Charles Lutwidge Dodgson). We also learned so much history of Oxford, Christ Church, and many hidden gems that you would never see, and got access to areas that are off limits to the public!-all because of Jess. It was all so much fun!! Can’t wait to come back for another one of her tours!!
Absolutely loved our tour with Jess. We were a family of 4 (with 2 teenagers). She pitched it perfectly, and was able to adapt things so that we all got exactly what we wanted from the tour. Her depth of knowledge is incredible and she is such a great story teller. She has such a lovely manner, which is so important when you are spending your precious holiday time with someone. We could have listened to her for hours. Can't wait to book another of Jess' tours when we are next in Oxford.
Thanks for such a lovely review - looking forward to future tours!
We had a private half day tour with Jess. She personalised our experience to suit all the members of our family and it was a fantastic experience. She is a wonderful storyteller and had us all hooked and not only did we all love the tour but it has given us lots to think about a and a much more in-depth understanding of the city of Oxford and it’s history.
Thank you so much!
Jess was fantastic! We asked for a custom private tour to learn about Tolkien, Carrol, and Lewis at Oxford. Jess was so knowledgeable and personable, she was a joy to spend half a day with. Highly recommended!!!
Thank you, it was wonderful to spend New Year’s Eve with you - Christ Church looking so beautiful in the frost!
Jess was our guide for our 4-hour tour of Oxford. She was prompt, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and patient. We saw a number of the Oxford highlights and gave helpful suggestions to other things we should see while we are here. She gave wonderfully colorful histories and patiently answered our questions. I would recommend her highly and if and when we return, I would definitely ask for her to help us discover other wonders of Oxford.
Thanks so much Jim, I had a really fun time with you all. I hope you do come back so I can show you more wonders!
Jess was our city tour guide and she was just amazing. The history she shared was so incredible and never boring. Super attentive to our needs and friendly! Would highly recommend her
Thanks for such a lovely review, I’m so glad you enjoyed the tour!
Jess took us on a "Rebels and Radicals" private tour of Oxford where we learned about different institutions and characters in Oxford's history which may have caused a bit of a stir in their time! It was such a fun and insightful tour which opened up some interesting conversations and really got us looking at the city in a different light. Jess is a brilliant tour guide - this tour had exactly the right balance of information and fun and I hope I get to go on another tour led by her in the future! Thanks Jess :)
Thank you so much, I really appreciate this. I hope you do come on another tour one day! :)
