Quindi, ci rechiamo nella città di Cotswold di Moreton-in-Marsh, dove raccogliamo i nostri ospiti finali dalla stazione ferroviaria di Moreton-in-Marsh alle 9.30. Chipping Campden è un'affascinante città mercato tipica delle Cotswolds, ricca di storia e patrimonio, ma anche sede di ottimi negozi indipendenti e ottimi caffè e torte! Utilizzando le mappe che forniamo, avrai circa un'ora qui per esplorare e scoprire Chipping Campden per te stesso.
Utilizzando gli stretti vicoli, visitiamo il nostro villaggio "segreto" Cotswolds per circa 20 minuti. Questa è una posizione fuori dai sentieri battuti che molti dei nostri clienti concordano è il villaggio più bello del tour!
La città più alta delle Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold è una vivace città mercato storica con molti buoni negozi e una varietà di ottimi posti dove pranzare (pranzo non incluso). Ci fermiamo qui per circa 1 ora e 15 minuti e, con le mappe che forniamo, puoi esplorare i punti salienti di Stow a tuo piacimento.
Utilizzando le stradine secondarie è a circa 30-40 minuti di auto da Stow-on-the-Wold a Bibury. Bibury è un piccolo ma perfettamente formato villaggio delle Cotswolds, un tempo descritto da William Morris come "il più carino d'Inghilterra". Unisciti a noi in un tour per vedere se sei d'accordo!
Dopo Bibury, ci vogliono 30 minuti in auto per Bourton-on-the-Water, la nostra ultima tappa prima di riportare i nostri clienti al punto di partenza. Descritta come la "Venezia dei Cotswolds", Bourton-on-the-Water è un villaggio da cartolina con ponti di pietra di Cotswolds che attraversano il fiume Windrush che scorre proprio attraverso il centro del villaggio. È molto popolare tra i visitatori, soprattutto in una giornata calda in cui remare nel fiume è il passatempo preferito, ma un tour dei Cotswolds non sarebbe completo senza una sosta qui.

The tour was very interesting. The guide was welcoming and spoke very clearly and thoughtfully for non-native speakers, for which he deserves a huge thank you. We really enjoyed this day.
First of all, our train was delayed and the tour started without us. But Steve drove back and picked us up allowing us to get back with the tour. Amazing customer service Second, our guide Steve was awesome. A great driver, funny and knowledgeable. Being a local he got us around traffic and really knew his stuff. That said, there was a lot packed into the day. Too little time to really enjoy the towns. We felt rushed at every stop. But saw interesting things and enjoyed the day.

A grand Day out despite the rain. Peter our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable and very obliging. So many nationalities on mini bus as we were only two English on board which was lovely. It gives a good taster of where you would want to go back to after visiting the villages. In all a great 8 hour day out.

The tour experience was really good . The tour guide Wendy Necar was excellent and polite respectful. She had guided the group thoroughly and correctly true professional. Peter was our guide and was most excellent. Punctual pick up, extremely knowledgeable about the areas we were going (both with historical context and facts and present day recommendations). I liked that our tour was a small one - 16 people max - rather than the large bus tours that seem so impersonal and rather overwhelm the small villages we visited. We were given a lot of info on our drives to/between stops and were generally unattended to during our visits, left to explore as we chose with set “return to this meet up spot” times. It was really quite nice and felt like a well done tour. I only wish we had a little more time in each stop but otherwise fantastic! I clearly couldn’t get enough of the Cotswolds!
