Excellent tour with David, informative and fun, we really enjoyed it. We would highly recommend this tour.
Although see described herself as the worst Scot in Scotland don’t believe her—Amelie is an exceptional guide and kept us all engaged with knowledge and jokes during the whole tour. Be advised though that this walking tour is better described as a walking and climbing tour. From the starting point to the center of the castle is an almost continuous uphill climb that gets very steep right at the end. On the flip side though, that means it’s all downhill on the way home.
Really nice friendly guide. ...maybe a too much time standing in the same spot meant it was difficult to concentrate on the content. Would have liked to hear more about who lived in the castle from the start and less other random content.
Our tour guide, Tony was awesome. Funny, considerate and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the stories and jokes.
All Star Guides had good historical knowledge. Our guide (James) had fun facts along the way with great background about the castle and how it fits with history.

James is a fantastic guide—informative, funny, and attentive to the group. We got much more out of our castle tour due to his expertise. We had intended to just buy castle entry tickets, but they were sold out. We thought paying for this guide was a second best option, but we were wrong. James should be everyone’s first choice!

Suggest getting to the tour meet up spot early . This tour company has multiple tours , leaving at the same time, to the castle. You will be assigned to a guide. Thank you , Toni, for a great time!
