Viaggia attraverso una terra inesplorata di selvaggi paesaggi desertici, cime innevate, branchi di alpaca e arriva alla destinazione finale: la "Montagna Arcobaleno" nascosta nelle Ande. Durante il tuo viaggio attraverserai una valle verde vibrante con la maestosa montagna Ausangate che torreggia in lontananza. Vivrai in prima persona come la gente del posto vive in montagna e ha persino la possibilità di parlare con loro. Avvicinandoti alla Rainbow Mountain inizierai a vedere i primi segni dei minerali colorati che formavano le colline dipinte. La tua guida spiegherà cosa costituisce l'esistenza della "Montagna Arcobaleno" e, infine, con un'ultima spinta, salirai su un punto panoramico che ti offrirà una visione a 360 gradi del bellissimo paesaggio che compone questa terra sacra a Cusco - Perù.

Itinerario
Verremo a prendervi alle 04:45. Quindi guideremo attraverso la South Valley. Il viaggio dura circa 01:40 per raggiungere la comunità di Cusipata dove ci fermeremo per la colazione. Guideremo quindi per l'01:00 fino a Chillihuani (4.600 m / 14.189 ft.), dove inizieremo il trekking per l'01:30 circa. alla montagna arcobaleno. Durante la salita sarai ricompensato con panorami mozzafiato di mandrie di alpaca e lama, il monte Ausangate, molte montagne rosse e le tradizionali case locali. Quando finalmente raggiungeremo la nostra destinazione, le Rainbow Mountains (5.036 m / 16.466 piedi), avrai tempo per esplorare la zona e scattare foto. Trascorreremo circa 30 minuti a 1 ora (a seconda della velocità del trekking e delle condizioni meteorologiche). Dopo le viste spettacolari dall'alto, scenderemo al punto di partenza. (Comunità di Quesiuno) da dove prenderemo il trasporto per la comunità di CUsipata per pranzare. Quindi inizieremo il nostro viaggio di ritorno a Cusco alle 17:00 circa.

Awesome experience! It was a wonderful journey from cusco. Very good trip, the guides Yesenia and Walter were excellent and very well organised. Breathtaking views and an incredible hike up to 5200 m above sea level to make you realise how unfit you are. Mind blowing panorama view of a living colours mountain. Food was awesome breakfast and lunch were great. I would definitely recommend Machu Picchu Amazon Peru company.

I was a bir paranoid as most travellers i met mentioned how they suffered the altitude while hiking up the Rainbow Mountain. I guess i was fortunate enough to have a guide like Richard who was super enthusiastic and made it easier by having frequent stops and preparing me for the trek. The view from the top is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend hikers to go a bit further and hike down the red valley.

The agency has everything well organized. Very punctual. our guide was great very friendly had a lot of information to share with us. even encouraged us to sing a little more eh go see the red valley that was not far. Everything went as planned.
