Tour di un giorno del castello di Alnwick e della cappella di Rosslyn da Edimburgo

What a lovely trip with our guide, Derek who shared his knowledge and enthusiasm throughout the day. The bus was super comfortable, we got to know our fellow passengers (total 7) enjoyed all the information and Irish music. We could have stayed twice as long at Alnwick and Rosslyn. Enough stops on the way and thank you for accommodating an extra bathroom stop.

Aila was a wonderful guide. There were only five of us in a van, so it felt more like a personal excursion rather than an impersonal tour group. Not enough time at Rosslyn, despite local onsite guide. You might want to research ahead of time to focus on what you want to look for in the elaborate carvings. Alnwick was a total treat, best castle to visit, I’m told. I went o the local tour about various film locations in the castle esp Harry Potter. Lunch break there ok but not the best. Consider bringing a lunch so you have more time to explore. I will definitely be traveling with Scotland’s Wild again.

Our guide Pete was wonderful, enthusiastic, and friendly. He had great information to share during the trip and made us feel comfortable the entirety of the tour. He gave us recommendations for restaurants and bars in Edinburgh and did not hesitate to help us when needed. Thank you for a fantastic time!

Great small group tour stopping in areas the big buses can’t access. Pete was a wonderful guide to our group, providing insight and just enough conversation to keep the travel time short. The stops were great, it was nice to get out of the city and see the wonderful landscape and pieces of history.

Magnus was an exceptional guide who played a pivotal role in ensuring a flawless day. His kindness, patience, and positive demeanor were evident throughout the experience. He provided thoughtful responses to our inquiries, making our visit memorable and enriching. Each site we visited was unique and worthy of our attention, particularly Rosslyn Chapel and Alnwick Castle. An absolutely amazing tour!

Aside from being amazingly beautiful, the stories related to movies being filmed there were impressive. Very relaxing day, and the free tours were very entertaining.

Magnus, our guide, was very sweet and patient with us. He told us great history and answered all our questions. He gave us some pointers on what to expect in some of the sites and that made us dig a little more during our first stop. Driving style was safe and overall, my family really enjoyed it! I would highly recommend, very calming experience after being in the busy city.

Our driver Warren was delight with his humor and knowledge. The driver always asked if we needed more time at stops. I think Alnwick castle should be at least a 3 hour tour. We did not have enough time to explore the grounds.

Trip was great to see things we wouldn’t have known to check out. Alia was a great guide and was very knowledgable about Scottish history. It would be great to have more time at Alnwick, but we got unlucky with rain so we may have been able to see more if it didn’t start raining.

Georgie was an excellent guide. She shared fun and interesting stories throughout the trip. We were grateful that she was willing to drop us off at our hotel upon our return, since we drove right past the hotel.
