Questa esperienza offre l'unico tour diretto da Bath a Stonehenge. Il viaggio per Stonehenge dura poco meno di un'ora a tratta. Itinerario
Sarai a Stonehenge per un minimo di 2 ore. Questo è un sacco di tempo per vedere Stonehenge come si deve e per godersi il negozio di souvenir, la caffetteria e la sala espositiva del Centro visitatori. L'autista/guida ordinerà i biglietti all'arrivo e spiegherà il layout del sito. Il tempo a Stonehenge è tuo, da goderti al tuo ritmo. Le audioguide sono disponibili in 10 lingue diverse per l'uso intorno alle pietre, queste sono gratuite ma soggette a disponibilità.
In una giornata limpida potremo vedere il Westbury White Horse, una collina di gesso scolpita nel 1770. Il nostro percorso offre viste panoramiche sulla pianura di Salisbury e sulla Avon Valley e passa per Cley Hill, il forte della collina dell'età del ferro e il tumulo funerario.

Half a day tour to the Stonehenge was perfect lengthwise. The tour consists of the driver picking you up in central Bath, driving you along 15 or so other people in a small bus to Stonehenge while telling you a few fun facts along the way, and getting you tickets to Stonehenge. You are on your own for two hours at Stonehenge (but there is a fabulous free tour app that you can download and listen to on your phone). Then, the driver drives you back for an hour but just plays music along the way. We expected a little more narration from the tour at the location but the app made up for the human narration fabulously.
Sally was a great driver and a wonderful guide. Definitely handy to get there before the majority of coaches. Highly recommend this tour.

The tour was cancelled the day before the tour. There was no availability to book another tour from Bath for the same day. There was no communication on why the tour was cancelled.
Hi Michael, I'm afraid Stonehenge was closed on the day of your tour due to the extreme heat wave that we were experiencing. This decision was made by English Heritage, who own and operate the site, and we were also only given one day's notice of the closure. We immediately contacted everyone on the tour to explain the situation, by phone call, text and email, but we were not able to reach you on the numbers provided. The decision to close Stonehenge was out of our hands and we did make every effort to let you know what had happened. A full refund was, of course, issued. We extend our sincere apologies for the disappointment.
Richard was a great guide. We really enjoyed it. I think the only suggestion would be to give a little more time at the site if possible, maybe 30 minutes longer.
