Gerry did a fabulous job!! Showed us more than we expected and was very friendly and informative! It was wonderful to not worry about driving on narrow roads or having to look for parking spaces. We would highly recommend taking a tour.

If you are visiting the Bath area, do yourself a massive favor and book with Mad Max Tours — specifically with Bill if you can get him! Our day in the Cotswolds was absolute perfection. Bill made sure we hit all the must-see spots, but he also went out of his way to drive right through smaller, picturesque villages we didn’t have time to stop in, giving us a front-row view from the coach. He even had a few wonderful surprises tucked up his sleeve for us throughout the day! He was so warm, funny, and shared fascinating history and trivia without ever making the commentary feel draining or nonstop. A few things that made this tour stand out above the rest: The bus — Hands down the best tour bus I’ve ever been on. Super comfortable, the temperature was just right the whole day, and the sightlines meant there wasn’t a single bad seat. Group size: Just the right size. Everything ran seamlessly, and we never spent precious vacation time waiting around for a huge crowd. Pacing: Naturally, you’ll fall in love with every village and wish you could stay forever, but the itinerary strikes the perfect balance… giving you ample time to explore each stop while truly maximizing how much you get to experience in one day. I couldn't recommend this tour more highly to anyone heading to Bath!

Just had a fantastic Cotswolds tour with Go Tours UK! In a wonderful company of other travelers in our van, I spent a day visiting various Cotswolds villages, all cute as could be! Our guide, Kevin, was superb: professional, knowledgeable, entertaining, not to mention his excellent driving skills, which came in handy in Bath’s traffic. The tour was perfect for me, as I would never dare to rent a car and drive on the left side. But thanks to this tour, I was able to see Cotswolds’ adorable highlights! I highly recommend Go Tours UK! I already researched other tours the company offers and will be booking with them again next time I’m in the UK. Actually, I loved Cotswolds so much, I may book the same tour again (and if by then the company offers a Cotswolds walking/hiking tour- hint hint 😉-I’ll go on that one too!)

What an excellent way to see the Cotswold's! No worries about navigating and finding parking. And you get a lot of information that you would not get if you did it on your own. The tour was excellent with comfortable transportation and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and got us to places before they got to busy.

This was a great day out from Bath exploring the Cotswolds. Our tour guide, Kevin, did a great job sharing information and interesting facts about the area and the villages. Kevin gave us an overview of each village and made recommendations for things to see and places to eat. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wishing to experience the Cotswolds without the hassle of driving.

Great tour and Dave was a great tour guide who made the day very interesting from a historic as well as human point of view! Truly enjoyed his way of, in an easy way, tell the stories about all the beautiful places we saw,; its background and people who lived there. 5 out of 5 stars 🌟

My mum, my sister and I took part in the MadMax Cotswolds Tour and we all came to the same conclusion: it was the best day of our holiday, which we’d previously spent in London and then in Bath. In absolutely glorious weather, we met up early in the morning and were driven from place to place in a very comfortable van. Bill was the best guide we could have imagined. He explained and taught us so much, and did so with plenty of humour. Castle Combe was our first stop, before the crowds of tourists (of which we were, of course, a part) began to pour into the little village. This meant we were able to take the best photos of the day. We would have loved to spend even more time in Bourton-on-the-Water, as there were all sorts of lovely shops to browse and a small craft market taking place that day. Stow-on-the-Wold was also a lovely place to linger. During the drive, Bill kept us entertained with all sorts of topics and showed us plenty of things along the way. If you’re thinking about booking a tour, go for it! It’ll be loads of fun.
