Una gita di un'intera giornata a Khor Virap, al Monastero di Noravank e alla Cantina Areni. Durante il tour avrai l'opportunità di avere una magnifica vista sul monte biblico Ararat. Scopri la storia di Noravank e assaggia il vino armeno nella fabbrica del vino. Il tour inizia dalle 09:00. Vi informeremo sull'ora esatta se avremo turisti da più hotel. Il primo posto sarà Khor Virap, che dista circa un'ora da Erevan. Offre una vista straordinaria sul Monte Ararat e Sis. Puoi scattare bellissime foto dal punto più vicino al Monte Ararat dall'Armenia. Quindi proseguiremo per il monastero di Noravank. A Noravank visiteremo le chiese di St. Karapet, St. Grigory the Illuminator e St. Astvatsatsin. Faremo una sosta in un ristorante locale per il pranzo. (Il prezzo del pranzo non è incluso nel prezzo) Dopo pranzo proseguiremo per la cantina di Areni, dove potrete vedere la produzione di vino armeno e anche assaggiarla. Più tardi torneremo a Yerevan

Punto di inizio e fine
Il monastero è il luogo in cui San Gregorio l'Illuminatore fu imprigionato per 13 anni in una profonda prigione sotterranea (Khor Virap significa "fossa profonda" in armeno). Khor Virap offre una delle viste migliori e più vicine del leggendario Monte Ararat, simbolo nazionale dell'Armenia.
Immerso in una stretta gola di calcare rosso, Noravank offre una vista mozzafiato su scogliere frastagliate e natura. Noravank era il centro spirituale e culturale della dinastia Orbeliana, con diverse tombe reali all'interno.
Wine tour e degustazione
Gli archeologi hanno scoperto un impianto di produzione di vino vecchio di 6.100 anni, tra cui tini di fermentazione, presse per uva e vasi di stoccaggio. Nella grotta è stata ritrovata una scarpa di cuoio ben conservata, risalente al 3500 a.C., che la rende la scarpa di cuoio più antica conosciuta al mondo.

Excellent day trip covering a lot of ground. Arsen was a fabulous tour guide, taking the time to translate to just me, being the only non-Russian speaker in the group. There was plenty of visit time at each stop and English speaking guides were provided at the Bird Cave and Areni Winery, which was much appreciated. Well worth booking!
Good, but..... try to do a tour only in English when it is mixed with Russian or Armenian you have to go after the guide to ask him because he only explains half of it. On the other hand, I did not have a good experience on the journey, up to 3 times I told the driver to take the steering wheel with both hands because he was looking for songs on his cell phone. It was scary
I had an interesting day in Armenia. Saw a lot of historical places and the tour ended with an amazing wine degustation. Our tour guide Nektar was very helpful and talked history about the places that we visited and about Armenia generally.:)

The places are beautiful, close to the capital, the route is optimized to see each stage calmly. Both the monasteries and the cave are very interesting as well as well maintained. Noravank is worth the tour alone, spectacular. The guide, Arsen, speaks exceptional English and is very professional, as well as nice and friendly. Satisfied!

I made several tours and enjoyed this one a lot! Yes the sites are definitely worth visiting!! But also the service, the company is fantastic! We were a small group. We were not overloaded with irrelevant information. But we got the most important and all questions were happily answered. We got the time we needed and felt free to explore, but same time everything was perfectly organised. The overall atmosphere was more familiar, Arsen is a really friendly guide and I would have done more tours if I would have not done others before. This was my last one in Armenia and the best!! Highly recommendable!! Thank you so much Arsen and hopefully see again!
