Se hai poche ore o molti giorni a Bari - non importa! - questo tour è d'obbligo. Avrete una guida unica ed esperta per coloro che desiderano ottenere il massimo e il meglio dalla città. Itinerario
Punto di partenza del nostro itinerario alla scoperta di Bari è il Castello Normanno Svevo, da sempre protagonista delle vicende cittadine e circondato da un imponente fossato. Vedremo il castello solo esternamente. Chi fosse interessato agli interni potrà visitarlo al termine del tour in autonomia.
Forse non c'è strada che sia rappresentativa di Bari più della celebre Strada Arco Basso, ma meglio nota come la strada delle orecchiette. Qui Rosa, Angela, Nunzia e le altre donne di Bari vecchia ogni giorno instancabili fanno a mano le orecchiette, il tipico formato di pasta barese. Ci prenderemo il tempo per scambiare due chiacchiere e scattare fotografie, per chi lo desiderasse.
La Cattedrale di San Sabino è la prossima tappa, da non confondere con la più celebre Basilica di San Nicola, ma altrettanto splendida.
È il cuore di Bari, in senso fisico ma soprattutto in senso affettivo. In essa sono custodite le reliquie di San Nicola. Ancora oggi come nei tempi antichi, giungono a visitarla migliaia di viaggiatori da ogni parte del mondo.
Ci concederemo il tempo per una piacevole passeggiata lungo le antiche mura cinquecentesche, da cui potremo godere di uno scenario spettacolare.
Circondata da antichi palazzi rinascimentali, vi sorge al centro la Colonna degli Infami (o dell'Infamia) a cui venivano anticamente legati i debitori insolventi. Oggi la piazza si presenta ricchissima di ristoranti, bar, gelaterie e locali, nonchè fulcro della vita notturna.
Questa incantevole piazza vicino al mare rappresenta l'ultima tappa del nostro cammino: qui si uniscono la città vecchia e i quartieri moderni. Ancora un attimo per ammirare gli antichi mercati del pesce e della carne ed il nostro cammino potrà dirsi concluso.

Great tour. Very informative and interesting. Our guide brought the history and culture of Bari to life. Loved the mix of contemporary art, food, architecture and history.
Our group was disappointed with the tour. Despite braving the rain and things starting out with lots of interaction and information, the guide started taking calls to coordinate other tours later that day. In the middle of a discussion or answering a question, the guide took calls and at one point didn’t realize the group had stopped to take photos and to see more as he talked on the phone and walked away. We would use a different guide/company next time
If you want to understand Bari more deeply than Spritzes, Foccacia and Orrecchiette this is the tour to take. My guide was able to help me understand the beauty of Bari, some history, the legends and the facts. He was so knowledgeable and he responded to my specific questions and curiosities. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable--from specific details related to Bari, to much larger events of the time. He was also very animated. The tour gives a nice overview of Bari Vecchia without feeling like a slog.
