A circa 20 minuti da Zakopane si trova il villaggio di legno di Chochołów. Questo villaggio è famoso per le case in legno che sembrano quasi identiche. I coloni tradizionalmente lavavano le pareti di legno degli edifici con acqua insaponata. Lo fanno due volte l'anno prima di Natale e Pasqua. Grazie a ciò, gli edifici che hanno molti anni sembrano nuovi. This was an extremely enjoyable event. Our guide and driver, Thomas, was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly young man. All timings were maintained and no issues through the entire day. Thomas also provided us all will tips for restaurants and other places to visit on krakow and surrounds. Highly recommended.
Pick up/drop off at any location you want. Our guide, Tom, was amazing - the ideal guide friendly, attentive, and chatty. Helped us to understand the Polish attitude and culture, very interesting guy, had a story for everything. He made sure everyone felt at ease, no awkwardness. First, we stopped at a church and then to Zakopane (booking includes the cable car up/down) which we were given 3 hours of free time to explore (quite big crowds - but we went on a weekend). Then, a short drive to try the cheese and vodka. After, a visit to see the wooden houses. A fun experience exploring Zakopane, amazing views of the Polish countryside. 😁
The driver was friendly, knowledgeable about the route and the history of the country. The pickup was from points that were convenient for each family. The driver was very attentive and at the same time structured the itinerary appropriately, so that we could avoid the crowds. Very good experience and we recommend that you prefer him. We had an amazing day traveling to Zakopane and the surrounding area, made even better by our guide, Bartek ("Bart," "Simpson," "Minion" — take your pick!). His sense of humor kept the day fun, but what really stood out was how he taught us every detail about the region and Polish history. Thanks to him, everything ran incredibly smoothly too.
