Esplora Guayaquil, la città conosciuta come la "Perla dell'Oceano Pacifico", ed è legata alla storia ecuadoriana sin dall'inizio. In questo tour avrai l'opportunità di conoscere la cultura e la tradizione di Guayaquil, visitando alcuni dei suoi siti più belli. Avvicinati a un'iguana nativa nel Parco del Seminario, cammina lungo il fiume Guayas al Malecon 2000, immergiti nelle case colorate del quartiere di Las Peñas e ammira l'incredibile vista dalla città e dal fiume dall'alto.

Itinerario
La nostra prima tappa sarà il Parco del Seminario, per ammirare i suoi splendidi giardini e la sua laguna. Con la Cattedrale di Guayaquil come sfondo, scopriremo anche perché questo parco è conosciuto come “Iguanas Park”, vedendo da vicino le esotiche iguane di Guayaquil, lunghe più di un metro. Quindi, attraversiamo il famoso Malecon 2000 lungo il fiume Guayas, dove vedremo una varietà di musei, giardini, moli e punti panoramici. La nostra prossima tappa sarà la Rotonda, per vedere il monumento dei liberatori del Sud America, e ascoltare la famosa "Intervista di Guayaquil" tra il venezuelano Simón Bolívar e l'argentino José de San Martín. Successivamente, andremo nella parte più antica della città per esplorare il quartiere coloniale di Las Peñas. Le loro colorate case costruite in legno rappresentano vere e proprie opere d'arte. Infine, saliremo al belvedere di Las Peñas (che era l'originale città di Guayaquil nel XVI secolo) e apprezzeremo una vista panoramica mozzafiato della città e del famoso fiume Guayas.

We had a wonderful tour with Tony. He did an excellent job personalizing the day for us around things we had already seen and what we were interested in. He was very knowledgeable about the city, and its history. Knew local places to take us to to get the best pictures. Our tour was completely private - just our family. Highly recommend hanging out with him for a day!

We wanted to learn about Guayaquil and do some sightseeing before our trip to the Galapagos and did the city tour. It was informative, well-paced, and brought a good balance of history, culture, food, and sights. Allison was a great guide. Even two teen boys enjoyed it.

We did the day tour of Guayaquil in order to get to know the city before we took off to the Galapagos the next day. There were four of us… My wife and I and two teenage boys. The tour was about 3 1/2 hours long and it included history, culture, a little sightseeing, and some food tasting. Allison was an excellent tour guide as a city native. Knowledgeable, eligible, great communicator before, and during the tour, and showed us a lot of the city. I recommend this tour highly.

Today was a wonderful leisurely, walk around Guayaquil. Our tour guide Antonio was extremely knowledgeable about his country and was sure to provide us with the most in-depth explanation of the culture and answered all of our questions. We walked 440 steps in the old city and enjoyed the most beautiful sunset atop the lighthouse where we got a chance to cool off with a wonderful breeze. It was a wonderful adventure for couples with a beautiful and romantic sunset at the end.

We enjoyed riding on the gondolas and visiting the artist neighborhood outside downtown Guayaquil. But a large portion of the tour consisted of being driven, seemingly aimlessly, through parts of the city with no real explanation why. From a distance we saw sights we would have liked to visit like the Monumento al Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, but were past by. Overall, this tour was mediocre at best.
