Perché prenotare con A wee pedal? Siamo il premiato Visit Scotland 'Miglior esperienza all'aperto' elogiato per l'esperienza degli ospiti di alta qualità, sostenendo al contempo la comunità locale. Non abbiamo bisogno di utilizzare veicoli mentre iniziamo proprio sulla pista ciclabile e siamo orgogliosi di essere nominati un'azienda a zero emissioni di carbonio. I gruppi sono tenuti piccoli per un'elevata esperienza e sicurezza degli ospiti e imparerai a conoscere questa antica città divertendosi molto con le nostre guide qualificate ed esperte. Si tratta di un giro divertente con la promessa di un gelato (o caffè!) in spiaggia o all'interno per riscaldarsi se in inverno. È un viaggio di andata e ritorno di 12 miglia. Inizierai proprio nel cuore del parco del Castello di Craigmillar, vicino al centro della città e facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, in autobus, in taxi o in auto (c'è un parcheggio gratuito in loco). Le e-bike possono essere noleggiate al costo aggiuntivo di £ 25pp cash il giorno. Per favore fatemi sapere se si desidera questa opzione. Le normative britanniche significano che l'età minima per guidare una bici E è 14 anni. Gli ospiti devono essere in grado di andare in bicicletta in modo sicuro.

Questo tour è di 12 miglia andata e ritorno su piste ciclabili per lo più prive di traffico. Utilizziamo biciclette ibride manuali, ma se desideri una E-bike comunicamelo al momento della prenotazione e te ne riserverò una. Si prega di portare £ 20 a persona il giorno per noleggiare una bicicletta elettrica. Nessun costo aggiuntivo per la bici manuale. Attraverseremo il bellissimo Craigmillar Park, sede del castello di Craigmillar, prima di attraversare il tunnel della ferrovia vittoriana del XIX secolo che ci porterà a Holyrood Park e oltrepasseremo il nostro vulcano spento, Arthur's Seat. Ci dirigiamo quindi sulle piste ciclabili fino alla costa per un caffè o un gelato! Questo è perfetto per le famiglie o per coloro che desiderano fare un giro tranquillo verso la spiaggia. Ci fermeremo nei siti storici e impareremo un po' di storia su questa antica città. Il tempo in Scozia è variabile e pedaliamo sotto la pioggia poiché ciò non influisce sul tour. Si prega di portare una giacca impermeabile.

A Wee Pedal provided a wonderful cycling experience. Richard and Leanne are amazing people who care about the tourists. The path was easy to ride and Richard had many great tidbits along the way. I would highly recommend this to any level of cyclists.
This was so much fun. The bikes were great. The tour guides were great. Make sure you bring warm clothing and comfortable shoes and bottle of water. The difficulty of the ride was about six on the scale of one to 10. The best part is seeing the water.
It was a great ride on a nice bike path with lots of greenery. It was fairly smmoth but there were some small inclines, I'd recommend the e bike, and gloves
Leeann was a terrific guide. Knowledgeable about not only the history of the area, but brought a great perspective on conservation, the local community, and her love of Scotland.
Had a wonderful morning ride with Leanne around Arthur's Seat and down to Portabello Beach. Very family friendly ride.

We highly recommend A Wee Pedal for your next biking adventure! We chose the coast tour because it offered the perfect balance for our family. Friendly terrain and not so many miles AND we got to bike to the sea. However, they have a tour for everyone :). If you enjoy great scenery, knowledgeable and friendly company, comfortable bikes, and priceless memories, then Chris and team are ready to oblige! Thank you!
Great fun for all ages, you do not have to be a cyclist other than be confident riding a bike. I loved it! My 8 year old daughter had a brilliant time. It is a little pricey but in the end a wonderful memory. I would highly recommend it!
I couldn’t be more disappointed ina wee pedal bike tour. We arrived at the brig end cafe, it was pouring rain and I asked if we can wait under the tarp so we wouldn’t be soaked… I was laughed at by an older gentleman and an older lady was dismissive of me and would not let me wait in the cafe. She told me very rudely to walk down the road and find a cafe to sit and wait three hours until the tour was over. I have never been treated so meanly before. Very unkind people, would never recommend it it especially at nearly a hundred U.S. dollars per person for a bike ride. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
We agree that zero stars would be the most appropriate rating here since you were only with us for a total of 3 minutes before you decided to leave us due to the rain. The rest of your party seemed to enjoy the experience very much. Scotland’s weather is unreliable and guests who bring a waterproof jacket and a positive mindset complete our tours with a great deal of enthusiasm and enjoyment. It’s a shame you allowed the weather to prevent you from taking part but I hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip to Scotland.
We had a wonderful experience today with Richard! The scenery was beautiful and he was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. The break down by the coast was a perfect place to get questions answered and to get to know our fellow bikers. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves in Edinburgh! Thank you so much!!
