Our family group really enjoyed strolling down the Royal Mile with Ross today, pausing often to hear about the interesting buildings and places we were seeing. Ross is an engaging and articulate speaker, enlivening his accounts with lots of vivid details and characters. This easy walk was a perfect start to our visit! Absolutely recommended.
What a great way to spend a Sunday morning in Edinburgh! We booked a walking tour of the old town to find out more about the city, it's history and people. The attraction of this particular tour was that it was to be conducted by a comedian since we have some knowledge of the rich comedy culture to be enjoyed in Edinburgh, so we had high hopes for "Good Egg". Our choice turned out to be the best we could have made. If ever there was an expert in the craft of story telling then it would be Ross. He knows his subject, has a very engaging manner and always made us feel like we were in the pleasant company of a good friend. Of course there were laughs along the way and it was plain to see that Ross was enjoying the tour every bit as much as we were. A memorable, informative and most of all fun tour, and well worth the money, which is saying something considering I'm a Yorkshireman! Many thanks Ross.
