This tour was great and beyond our expectations! Steven was our tour guide and had a wealth of knowledge to share! He was friendly and interesting and gave us a great overview of whiskey in Scotland! We would all highly recommend him and this tour!
Excellent tour with Steven, the best guide you could possible get to learn about not only whiskey but a whole lot of the history of Scotland and Edinburgh. His knowledge was beyond impressive. The selected bars and tastes were also exceptional. Steven made our visit to Edinburgh a truly awesome one. Could not recommend him more. The price was too low for all he had to offer.
Our group of four (two couples) took this tour on the day we arrived in Edinburgh, because we wanted to dive right into the Scottish and whisky culture, and we're so glad we did. Our guide Steven is incredibly knowledgeable about both whisky and Edinburgh, and as most really great walking food/drink tours will do, he did a fantastic job of blending together not only the stories of the whiskies we tried, but the histories of the pubs we visited and the city we were walking through. Such a thoroughly enjoyable introduction to Scotland and Scotch whisky. Very highly recommended!

Stephen did a fantastic job teaching us about Scottish Whiskey and Scotland/Edinburgh in general. He took us to several places to try a wide range of whiskeys and even helped select one for me to take home. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions! My wife had a great time and she doesn’t normally like whiskey so I would highly recommend this tour if even you don’t like whiskey.
Steven's knowledge of whiskey and Scotland was amazing. I felt like I could ask a question about virtually anything and Steven would have a well considered reply. I was soaking up information during every moment of the tour. The pubs and drinks were also excellent. This experience was, unquestionably, a highlight of our time in Edinburgh.
Our host was excellent, he gave history of whisky and history of Edinburgh. It was so well plotted out, we went to old town and new town establishments. Thoroughly enjoyed this whisky experience. Well done Laurie

So much more than a whiskey round. Steven Shand is a true professional. He is knowledgeable and passionate, which is noticeable throughout the round. We can warmly recommend this guy and this event.
Allan was an excellent tour guide! Very knowledgeable and witty. He offered good whisky history as well as local context. We had a great time being led around the city and being introduced to some cool local bars. We were sad to hear that our tour would be the final one ever to be conducted, but we were so happy with our experience and Allan made our day!
