La casa del Fauno danzante a Pompei, costruita nel II secolo e poi ampliata nel secolo successivo, questa Casa del Fauno è tra le case più belle ma soprattutto più ampie di Pompei. La sua superficie copre 2970 metri quadrati.
CAVE CANEM! ”: La casa del tragico poeta di Pompei, riccamente e finemente decorata, questa dimora ospita alcuni tra i più bei dipinti del sito archeologico. I dipinti sono in tema mitologico e nella sala d'ingresso troviamo già rappresentazioni spettacolari, come Zeus e Hera e Achille e Briseide.
Non è corretto parlare del Teatro di Pompei perché in realtà c'erano due teatri, uno più grande che è stato scoperto e uno più piccolo, coperto, chiamato Odeion. Il grande teatro è ancora oggi utilizzato per spettacoli di ogni tipo, a testimonianza della continuità tra la città antica e il mondo moderno.

She was a fantastic guide and an authentic archaeologist. We had such a profoundly satisfying tour of both Pompeii and Herculaneum. It brought me to tears several times. Worth every euro.
