Beautiful, absolutely worth visiting. The guide who followed my group (Beata) was prepared and spoke excellent Italian.
"Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're so pleased to hear you found the visit beautiful and that Beata provided such an excellent experience for your group with her preparation and fluent Italian. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope you'll recommend us for the future!"
Very interesting and must see place to visit if staying in Krakow …. The guide at the Salt mines was brilliant making sure the group stayed together and was very informative. The trip was easy to book and the driver, Piter was friendly and punctual going above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a nice time. On the way back he took time to show places of interest around Krakow which was not on the itinerary.
Thank you for your wonderful review and recommendation! We’re delighted that you enjoyed the Salt Mine tour and that Piter went above and beyond by pointing out local highlights along the way—we hope to see you again soon in Krakow!
This trip was amazing there’s over 800 steps to the bottom of the salt mine (so not for the less abled) but there is a lift back up the sculptures in the mine are out of this world , by your souvenirs at the top as the gift shops in the mine are twice the price
Thank you for your amazing review and helpful tips! We’re delighted that you enjoyed the incredible salt sculptures, and we appreciate you sharing your practical advice about the stairs, lift, and souvenir shopping with future travelers!
We used michel Krupa on May 24th. Picked us up from our hotel to the salt mines with our tickets and our guide was waiting for us. Transport clean and driver helpful.
Fantastic tour with a brilliant tour guide. Not rushed how ever I would not like to go peak season as busy enough in March. Absolutely breath taking and amazing to see. The Chapels & Chandeliers were my favourite ❤️. I would highly recommend a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was my most favourite tour in krakow.
Beautiful fascinating place. Great tour guide. Lots of walking so be prepared. We couldn't believe what could be done with salt...
We had the two experiences, salt mine and Auschwitz on two different days. Very tiring both experiences but definitely worth it. The first, salt mine, you have to go underground on foot for 41 floors, you get to over 130 meters. There are more than 300 steps to which are added another 400 to complete the visit. Inside the mine you walk for over two km but it is certainly worth it. Immense halls obtained from continuous excavation, salt and salt. Statues of salt, salt ponds, truly a spectacle. The next day visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau. What to say about this experience: you have to do it to understand how man is capable of incredible actions. Malice, selfishness, wickedness merged into a single action that leaves a mark just to think about it..... I don't want to add anything else, everyone draws from this experience its own conclusion.
A LOT of walking but well worth it! Our guide was lovely amd the tour wasn't rushed at all, it was way more interesting than I though salt could be and the salt sculptures were amazing👍 well worth a visit
I highly recommend to visit the salt mine whenever you visit krakow. Nice experience. Starter tour of salt mine from entrance straight to really far feet. You need at least 4 hours to visit this place everything is just made of salt and great history.
