A tre ore da Quito troviamo la Riserva Ecologica Los Ilinizas dove una delle sue principali attrazioni è la laguna turchese che si trova nel cratere di Quilotoa, i meravigliosi paesaggi rendono questa attrazione turistica un'esperienza da non perdere se si è in Ecuador .

Itinerario
Dopo andremo alla ricerca della comunità, da qui scendiamo verso la laguna dove avremo del tempo libero per visitarlo e camminare. L'ascesa è un po 'dura, quindi si consiglia di salire su un mulo per le persone che non contano con una buona condizione fisica (è possibile affittare un mulo alle persone della comunità direttamente $ 10 a persona circa dopo la pausa pranzo, faremo ritorno da un laboratorio artigianale a Tigua, famoso per i suoi dipinti pittoreschi.
Infine visiteremo il punto panoramico del Toachi Canyon. Ritorna a Quito.

Great tour to the Quilotoa Laguna, very well organized and the guide Irene was just fantastic! Very knowledgeable and funny, fluent in English and Spanish, she was very caring and was able to keep the atmosphere very entertaining while giving us a lot of information about nature, history and culture! Highly recommended!

Pickup and return were perfectly organized. Tour guide Fernando took good care of us as guests, gave local tips, and there were a few photos afterwards
The tour was well organized. Our guide Daniel picked us up at the hotel, shared about his country and explained about agriculture and craft of the region before heading to Quilotoa for the hike down to the crater lake. You can then hike up (really steep and slippery) or rent 2 horses for 20. Very good lunch after the hike as well. Daniel had great balance between explaining things and leaving the group (6 people) as our own paces.
Beautiful experience, the place is incredible, Irene the guide is excellent, always attentive to everything and with a lot of information to share!!!! Great charisma and excellent management and coordination of the group.
My tour ride was awesome. Comfortable seats in the bus. Nicely narrator by Daniel on the way to Quilotoa. After making my way down to the bottom of the lagoon. Daniel stayed with me both trips. He looked after me, me being a man of a certain age and realize I couldn't make it back up. He helped me get a horse. Deeply appreciate for all his help. Keith Thomas
At the lagoon you have a choice and do not have to hike. We did not get dropped off until 9pm...long day!
