Itinerario

Excellent sightseeing experience today with my visit to 3 of the Eagles Nest castles. I’ve been to Krakow before, and wanted to see more of the countryside plus some historical ruins. This trip was a great choice. I was surprised to be the solo guest today, and very grateful that they decided to run the tour anyway. My guide/driver Lukasz, was prompt, professional and friendly. Lots of insight into local life and history of the areas we visited. Three castles, each different and interesting in their own way. Scenic driving in between. I recommend sneakers or light hiking shoes for this trip, so you can safely navigate hilly pathways and stairs at the ruins. The walking part would be fine for most. And oh yes, you get that famous castle from the show :) It delivers. This was a longer drive, but I enjoyed the scenery and greenery, having had sufficient time at each castle stop. If looking to see a little more Poland outside the regular Krakow tourist spots, definitely check out this trip.
Nice tour, 3 stops, nice driver.... But each of the 3 castles Is about 5€ each, tour lasts 5 hours... So why is it so expensive??? Definitely not worth 120€. Sorry 😐
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the tour stops and the driver, but we’re sorry to hear you felt it was not good value for money. We understand your concerns regarding pricing and entrance fees. Your comments are important to us and will be taken into consideration as we continue to improve our tours and transparency.
All 3 castles are nice to visit but it requires a lot of walking. Especially at the castle of highlight you have to walk a lot pretty steep upstairs to visit each chamber up to the top of the castle.
This is not a popular tour but it’s great for getting away to nature and exploring the countryside by visiting three castles and walking amongst the trees and birds away from the main tourist crowds. Our guide David was good at driving and giving us free time to explore on our own with clear instructions. Much appreciated.
David was a great driver and guide. He tailored things to what we liked and gave us plenty of time at each castle to experience it without being rushed at all. I would definitely recommend this tour!
Saw three castles and a national park. Dawid was very professional, knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable for our first trip to Poland.
David, our tour leader is nice and friendly, the tour is great, and I’d like to recommend the lunch restaurant down below the Ogrodzieniec Castle. The soup is terrific!
Thank you so much for your review! We’re delighted to hear that David made your tour enjoyable with his friendly guidance. We’re glad you had a great experience and appreciate your restaurant recommendation near Ogrodzieniec Castle!
This was our last tour of our trip and it was a lovely last full day in Poland. Our driver Thomas was friendly and fun to talk to. There is so much recent history in Poland that is often the focus of tours and this tour offered history that was much older in the backdrop of absolutely stunning national parks. The castles are so interesting to explore and again the national parks in May were beautiful. Highly recommend this tour.
Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re glad Thomas made your last day in Poland enjoyable and that you appreciated the rich history and stunning national parks. Your recommendation means a lot to us!
I would sincerely recommend this trip to anyone. The guide/ driver was very nice and myself and my two teenage kids felt very comfortable in his company. Punctual collection time, interesting schedule ( three different castles) and great flexibility with time, accordingly to our interests and needs. No regrets!
Thank you for your wonderful recommendation! We're glad to hear that you and your teenage kids felt comfortable and enjoyed the flexible schedule visiting the three castles. It's great that the guide/driver made the experience so pleasant for you all. No regrets indeed—hope to see you again on another trip!
After a long week of touring beautiful Kraków and surrounding attractions and destinations, we were worn thin, uncertain if we still wanted to commit to this last excursion, visiting Ojców National Park. But the gorgeous photos and favorable reviews of this trip convinced us to give it a try, and boy are we glad that we did. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, Tomasz served as the perfect host and guide, leading us efficiently from site to site and tailoring the day to suit our specific interests. He allowed us all the time we needed to visit each attraction and castle and gave us the perfect recommendation for an amazing meal at lunchtime. (Try the placki ziemniaczane! You'll thank him.) The park itself and the castles we discovered along the way left us with memories that will last forever. Be prepared for just a bit of climbing and some uncertain footing from time to time, but expect that your efforts will be rewarded with incredible views and fascinating sights. For us, the cloudy skies and gentle rains cloaked these old fortresses with just the right amount of mystique, transporting us to a distant time and different world. What a perfect day!
