Puerto Caldera si trova a 1 ora e 10 minuti di auto da Jaco dove si trova la foresta delle scimmie e uno dei principali porti sulla costa pacifica del Costa Rica, situato nella provincia di Puntarenas. Svolge un ruolo cruciale nel commercio marittimo e nel turismo del paese. Il più grande porto cargo della Costa Rica sul lato Pacifico, che gestisce container, carburante e merci alla rinfusa e una sosta frequente per le navi da crociera, accogliendo i turisti che spesso esplorano le attrazioni vicine.
Rientreremo a Playa Blanca, una bellissima spiaggia tranquilla sulla costa del Pacifico centrale della Costa Rica, nota per le sue acque calme e i suoi dintorni lussureggianti. È un luogo perfetto per una tranquilla giornata in spiaggia o una breve fuga da Jaco. Ideale per il nuoto, il paddleboard e il kayak, grazie alle dolci onde. Si possono avvistare bradipi, macachi scarlatti e iguane nella foresta circostante.
Tárcoles è rinomata per la sua tradizionale comunità di pescatori, dove i pescatori locali utilizzano piccole imbarcazioni e metodi sostenibili tramandati di generazione in generazione. È possibile visitare la Cooperativa di Pesca Tárcoles (CoopeTárcoles R.L.), che promuove pratiche di pesca responsabili e vende pesce fresco pescato localmente. Amanti del pesce: La città è nota per le sue catture fresche, tra cui dentice, corvina e gamberetti.

Roger was great. We had a had a large group of family and he was able to accommodate all of us. When we said we didn't want to see something he pivoted and took us somewhere else. The definite highlight of the tour was the monkey house. I couldn't recommend the is tour enough!
We booked this tour and were told there was a system glitch, so Roger was unable to accommodate us as planned. He did offer alternate arrangements, which we appreciated, and assured us that everything from the original tour would still be included. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. The guide who was sent did not speak English and had to rely on phone translation throughout the tour. While he did his best and was kind, a major reason we booked this tour was for the commentary and insights—so spending much of the time in silence was disappointing. Additionally, we were asked to pay in cash, which required an unplanned ATM visit and extra fees, adding to the frustration. Overall, we appreciate the effort to find a last-minute solution, but the experience fell short of what was promised, and we would not recommend this tour.

Your reservation came in as a last-minute booking, creating an unexpected scheduling overlap. Rather than canceling your tour and disappointing your family with a full refund, I made the decision to have one of my trusted backup guides operate the tour so you could still enjoy the experience during your vacation. Unfortunately, that decision did not provide the level of service that I personally expect or that my guests deserve. I take full responsibility for that. This tour is one that I personally designed and normally operate myself, and because of your feedback, I have changed my internal policy. Going forward, if I am unavailable, I will no longer assign this particular tour to another guide. I would rather be fully booked than provide anything less than the experience my guests expect. I sincerely appreciate your comments because they helped me improve my business. I truly hope that if you return to Costa Rica in the future, you'll give me the opportunity to personally host you and your family. It would be my pleasure to offer this tour to you as my guest. An absolute blast! Roger was amazing and such a talented and thoughtful guide to have. He was super informative and really showed us a side to Costa Rica we hadn’t yet seen. Worth every second of time you will spend on this adventure. Book now so you don’t miss out!!
Roger was a fantastic guide, one of the best! Great with kids and adults alike, he was cordial and helped the tour be as safe as possible. Great itinerary too, more local and cultural experiences. Would highly recommend this tour again to any and all!
Roger was AMAZING and very accommodating to what our family was interested in seeing, he asked us questions to better hone in what was important to us for our experience. He was extremely pleasant and made our trip more amazing than I imagined. He was knowledgeable about the area, answered any questions we had and took us for lunch, which was amazing. He took us to see the monkeys, which we go to feed and allow to sit our our shoulders. We were a family of 4, 3 adults and 1 teenager. We will for sure use him again in our future trips to Costa Rica. "Customer service" should be Roger's first name!!!
For Starter, Roger Concierge CR, is definitely the Best Concierge that Costa Rica has to offer. Met him on a simple Uber ride share. Wanted to celebrate my Lovely Wife birthday. He suggested the monkey tour 🐒 crocodile bridge 🐊, a culture meal style lunch, Sloth Seeing 🦥, Playa Blanca Beach ⛱️, Take pics at Jaco View Point, and end the day with one of the best sunsets ever. We made a ton of New Memories on her Special Day. Roger recommended Claritas Restaurant for her Romantic Sunset Dinner and the atmosphere didn't disappoint 👌. She was so happy and I can truly say," Wifey's, Special Day was Exciting and Adventurous." If you don't use this guy in Costa Rica. You definitely didn't do it right!!! He is very knowledgeable, funny, family oriented, knows the culture, put others interest before his own, makes your dreams comes true. The places he suggested and took us to, were unimaginable.
