Volcano Hike, Waterfall Swim & Hot Springs Combo su Rincon de la Vieja

Daphne is an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable and passionate about her country. The tour felt a little rushed would be my only complaint. Would’ve loved more time in the thermal springs. I definitely recommend Native’s Way. I ended up using them for all my tours while in a Costa Rica.

I was traveling by myself and felt completely safe and well taken care of from start to finish. The pickup process was easy and on time. I really loved that the group was small because it gave everyone a chance to chat and get to know each other. Our tour guide, Kevin Piña, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of my questions. Our driver, Felipe, was also very kind and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The locations we visited were absolutely perfect. Nothing felt overcrowded or overly touristy, and one of the highlights was getting to swim at a waterfall completely to ourselves! I look forward to touring with them again in the future. Highly recommend!

Bring a towel and mosquito repellent (important!!). The dinner is very good and complete, but rather late, so have lunch beforehand or bring snacks :) The hike is very easy, we ascend little, and there are plenty of interesting viewpoints! Otherwise, the guide and the driver are very nice!

Great time! We had a group of 10 including three young kids. The hike was fun, but a challenge with the kids. The waterfall and hot springs were awesome experiences. We would do it again!

10/10 ! This tour has it all! We hiked through the volcano and saw spider monkeys and a viper. The waterfall was so beautiful and refreshing and the hot springs were relaxing. Daffney our guide was so smart and thorough. This is a great family tour.

I personally had a good time but be warned this is a strenuous hike in the hot sun. We had some setbacks because of this but I enjoyed the views and cooling off in the waterfall. The food was delicious too.

We absolutely loved everything about this tour. Our guide Adberto and driver Raphael were awesome. Adberto is very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of Costa Rica as well as the history and people of the Guanacaste region. We stopped at a local cafe for breakfast and to exchange passengers from other pick up points. The food was very good and was a nice local eatery. The hike thru the national park was great. The waterfall was beautiful and very refreshing. The hot spring and mud bath was rejuvenating. We were served Lunch which was delicious. Highly recommend this experience, first class!

Knowledgeable guides. Great places. Waterfall was the best. Hat springs were awesome. The hiike through the volcano park and viewing the steam pools was cool. I believe everybody should do it at least once.

We are glad we took the excursion but here are a few things to consider. The volcano hike was very long. Be prepared for about 3-4 miles. More than we wanted to walk. The visit to the hot springs was not long enough. We needed more time after all the walking. There were towels provided there and that was nice. The waterfall was much smaller than we anticipated and has very steep set of stairs with a small platform. Our tour guide Alejandro was very nice and made the experience fun. The vans were comfortable and drivers that picked us up were pleasant. We are glad we did the excursion as it will probably be a once in a lifetime trip to this beautiful country.
