This was an excellent tour and I learned a lot, even though my 3rd trip to Bath. Directions were good; I only veered off once. Information was clear and interesting. Enjoyed it!
The guide was knowledgeable and taught me plenty about Bath. The app though was less successful. 4 or 5 times it said I'd wondered off course - even when I was walking next to the red line - which often joined the points on the route with a straight line and so went through buildings and so was impossible to stay on. Other times we'd walk straight over a narrative point and then have to back track and trigger it manually. Other times we'd be standing right on top of the marker - but still no narrative. Pocket mode did work occasionally, so the phone was configured correctly, but most of the time I had to keep the phone in my hand and trigger the narratives manually.
Finding Sally Lunn tea rooms and looking around the Abbey, Parade gardens were good as the grounds were immaculate, I couldn't get into the Roman baths as did not have an eticket
