Matera & Alberobello: UNESCO da Bari, Monopoli, Polignano e GUIDA

Well organised, pick ups were all on time and central. Driver was good and guide kept everything on time

The destinations themselves were spectacular and well worth visiting. Unfortunately, the organisation and communication before the tour were frustrating and affected the overall experience. My original booking confirmation clearly stated a 9:00 a.m. pickup time. In the days leading up to the tour, I began receiving WhatsApp messages from two different tour companies, one advising a 7:30 a.m. pickup and the other confirming 9:00 a.m. After numerous phone calls and messages, I was eventually told that my booking was with a different company and that the pickup time was actually 8:00 a.m. The other company informed me that "my" booking had been cancelled, despite me never making a booking with them. The whole process was confusing and stressful. On the morning of the tour, we arrived at the pickup point at 7:45 a.m. as instructed. However, the bus did not arrive until approximately 8:25 a.m. This was particularly frustrating given that the guide was extremely strict throughout the day about meeting times and punctuality. I also felt that the itinerary involved too much walking between drop-off points and the attractions themselves, which reduced the amount of time available to actually enjoy the sites. More time at the attractions and better logistics would have significantly improved the experience. Overall, the places visited were stunning, but the communication, pickup arrangements, and time management need considerable improvement.

IMPECCABLE organization, Alessia was impeccable, she never left anyone behind and took care of the whole group with ease and fluidity. The two UNESCO sites were fantastic, I am really happy to have participated in this tour.

We participated in the “Matera, Alberobello: Your Adventure Among the UNESCO Heritage Sites” tour and it was a fantastic experience. Two simply wonderful places, rich in history, culture, and unique landscapes. The organization was impeccable; everything was carried out with great professionalism and helpfulness. The visit was pleasant and engaging, allowing us to discover the beauties of Matera and Alberobello without stress and with the right amount of time to enjoy every moment. Highly recommended for those who want to experience a special day discovering some of the most beautiful wonders of Puglia and Basilicata. ❤️

A perfect day out, a comfortable coach, and the timing was just right, allowing us to visit Alberobello and Matera both on our own and accompanied by a very knowledgeable tour guide. Thank you for the wonderful experience

There are a lot of steps in Matera. In general, a good tour. Improvements would be less rushed and more info provided by the guide.

This was one of the most disappointing tours I have ever experienced. The tour guide did not even introduce herself at the beginning of the tour, nor did she provide any information about the itinerary, travel time, or what to expect during the day. There was no recap or effort to keep the group informed. The tour appeared to include a trainee on an English-language tour whose English proficiency was very poor, making communication difficult. Additionally, there was no microphone system used to explain the history and points of interest. With such a large group and the guide speaking very softly, most people could barely hear or understand what was being said. To make matters worse, the bus advertised as air-conditioned was extremely hot throughout the journey. On a day when temperatures reached 32°C, the air conditioning was either not working or not being used, making the trip very uncomfortable. Overall, the organization, communication, and comfort level of this tour were far below expectations. I would not recommend this tour to others unless significant improvements are made.
