Inizieremo il tour nella reception del Old Town Chambers, Autograph Collection Hotel, situato tra i Luckenbooths e Angels con ristoranti di cornamuse.
Il centro storico di Edimburgo è un patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO e una delle città più belle del mondo. Il tour percorre il centro storico verso alcuni dei migliori ristoranti e caffè della città. Molti dei ristoranti e delle fermate che visitiamo si trovano nel centro storico.

This was one of the best food tours we have ever done. Our guide, Nichola, was friendly and knowledgeable. She had so much insight into the food culture of Scotland. Each dish was unique and tasty. We even had a whisky and gin tasting and an unexpected entree. Nichola took us to both New and Old Town and a neighborhood off the normal tourist areas. We would definitely recommend booking the tour!

I travel to abroad up to 8x a year, mostly on business. Every place I go to a food tour always kicks off a trip. Hands down this is the best food tour I ever had, if I ranked all of them over my innumerable trips over the years. An experience is memorable for only 1 of 2 reasons: it’s either an experience is terrible or exceptional like a notch above the rest. Skye Class is the name you would want to guide you. Period. Be sure to look for the ‘Original’ tour. I looks like a number of other operators are replicating his tour, including the name of the tour. There are those but then there’s Skye Class. I normally do not care to write reviews. It’s a waste of my time. If I wrote one and a lengthy one like this, it means I have been impressed and I deem it worthy of my time. I would do this tour again with my usual travel buddies when we find our way in Edinburgh in the future.
Skye was kind enough to give me an insiders tour of some truly outstanding food in Edinburgh. An unhurried meander from gem to gem with some great insights on best local bakeries, coffee, whiskey and Scottish food; this was a standout experience. Book this for the start of your trip.

My husband and I booked a food tour with Skye, and from the moment we met him to the very end, we were thoroughly impressed. Skye has lived in Scotland for quite some time and is incredibly knowledgeable about the area. As we walked around, he shared interesting facts and history about nearly every place we passed, which completely changed how we viewed and understood the surroundings. When it came to the food, the experience was just as exceptional. At each stop, Skye gave us background and fun insights before we ate, and every single dish was outstanding. You can truly tell he’s passionate about what he does. He even took photos of us throughout the tour, which made the experience even more memorable, and went above and beyond by extending the tour to include one last stop that was the perfect ending. I’ve rarely met someone as passionate and engaging as Skye—he made us feel comfortable the entire time, and we walked away learning so much about both Scottish history and cuisine. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone, do yourself a favor and BOOK THE TOUR!

Our Edinburgh Food Tour was fantastic! Skye Class Tours did a wonderful job in selection and was based in part from input they requested prior to the tour. No other tour during our two weeks in Scotland asked much beyond food allergies. Our guide made us feel like we were the only ones on the tour somehow. He also provided us some valuable insight and recommendations around all of our stops throughout Scotland. Great experience!
The tour size is set to be small and personable as possible. They would rather underbook than "go big". Ours was really small so it allowed a lot more interaction with our guide Skye. We had the opportunity to tell the tour what kind of things we liked and that also had an impact on the places selected for our tour.
