Questo tour di un giorno da Edimburgo ti porta a visitare gli impressionanti Kelpies, il bellissimo Loch Lomond, il magnifico Parco Nazionale di Trossachs e la terra delle leggende scozzesi William Wallace e Rob Roy. Prima di una sosta affascinante al Castello di Stirling per vivere la storia e le storie dei reali scozzesi. Itinerario
Partendo da Edimburgo, ci dirigiamo verso la nostra prima tappa della giornata; i Kelpies. A 30 metri di altezza, sono le più grandi sculture equine del mondo e raffigurano creature mitiche del folklore scozzese.
Ci fermiamo a Balloch a Loch Lomond per dare ai nostri clienti la possibilità di fare una crociera attraverso Loch Lomond. L'ingresso alla crociera non è incluso.
Per coloro che non sono interessati a fare la crociera, ci fermiamo a Loch Lomond Shores, per i clienti a fare una piacevole passeggiata.
Continuiamo attraverso il Parco Nazionale dei Trossachs, noto anche come 'le Highlands in Miniatura' per la sua abbondanza di laghi, montagne e foreste. È famosa anche per il leggendario fuorilegge Rob Roy MacGregor. Passeremo del tempo ad esplorare la zona prima di fermarci per il pranzo in un piccolo villaggio immerso nei suoi splendidi dintorni.
Dopo pranzo, ci facciamo strada attraverso la città di Callander, oltre il castello medievale di Doune prima di fare la nostra ultima sosta della giornata al castello di Stirling (extra opzionale). Il sito è una delle fortezze storicamente più significative della Scozia, situata in alto sulla roccia vulcanica e offre una splendida vista sul paesaggio circostante. Avrai tempo per visitare il castello e conoscere le imprese di personaggi storici chiave tra cui William Wallace, Robert the Bruce e Mary Queen of Scots. Con un sacco di cose interessanti da vedere e da fare qui, l'esperienza del Castello di Stirling è un must per ogni visitatore della Scozia. Iniziamo quindi il nostro viaggio verso casa diretti a Edimburgo.
Ci fermeremo presso South Queensferry per ammirare i panorami sul Forth Bridge

Must buy entrance tickets at each stop as they are not included. No way to see Loch Lomond without taking the boat tour.
What a fantastic day my friends and I had! Vixi was an exceptional guide and driver, combining extensive knowledge with a great personality and a cheerful attitude. She was dedicated to making the tour enjoyable for everyone and succeeded effortlessly. She is an excellent driver, navigating both the motorways and the narrow streets of Stirling with confidence and ease. I was lucky enough to sit in the front seat next to her for the first part of the journey to Stirling, and at no point did I feel unsafe. Her playlist was the perfect soundtrack for the day, and it’s something I still listen to occasionally to reminisce about this wonderful trip. Unfortunately, we encountered the famous "Haar" when we returned to Edinburgh. The fog was so thick that we had to take Vixi's word for it that the three bridges were there—we couldn't see a thing! 😄 I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Edinburgh.
My Tour Guide, Karis, was very entertaining, knowledgeable and a fantastic driver. I enjoyed her sense of humor. She was courteous, polite and ensured you were enjoying the tour. Visiting the Kelpies was an artistic eye-opening experience. A classroom lesson on the Loch Lomond, by boat, was the perfect way to start my day. Soft morning breeze on the Loch opened my mind to the sound of my educator, and captain of my boat cruise. The scenery of the duns was both lovely and peaceful. Karis knowledge of the Scottish History is brilliant, I felt as if I was locked in a time capsule with her and reliving Scotland's birth to date. A visit to the Sterling Castle, ended the day perfectly. I highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking to quench their thirst for a real Scottish version of history, Kings, Queens and Clans.
Nice and funny guide (Karis), who in totally relaxed fashion told details and stories while navigating narrow roads. Mood was relaxed and sunny. Timings/stops were just correct; not too long, not too short. Bonus points for the evening sided visit of the Stirling castle; less crowded.
We just completed the Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle & Kelpies day tour with Timberbush and have to give a huge shoutout to our guide Karis. What made the day was her — she managed to navigate the roads, keep up an incredible stream of stories and historical context, and still make every single person on the coach feel like their questions were the most interesting thing she'd heard all day. Her energy was infectious from start to finish, and it never once felt like a rehearsed script. If you're booking this tour, hope you get Karis.
The experience was excellent and Gary our guide offered many points of interest and historical insights. We had a quick stop to see 3 Heiland Coos.
Great tour, Gary was great. Got to see a lot of the country side that otherwise would not see. Comfortable, safe and lots of knowledge. Everything went well!
A very good excursion, well organized and timed. For us, the highlight was Kelpies. It looks like something from a fairy tale. I wish we were able to inside these amazing sculptures. The rest, Scottish highlands, as impressive as.
