Delphi Private Day Tour da Atene

Christos took us on a tour to Delphi. He shared many historical facts with us during the drive, and every moment spent with him in the car was precious. We stopped for a delicious frappé. On the way back, Christos showed us the charming town of Arachova. He's a great driver, and I recommend him to everyone! Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Great experience! Christos was kind, engaging, very accommodating, and a good driver. The sights were Amazing! Human beings are gifted and have been since the beginning of time. I am so glad we stayed an extra day to see Delphi and observe the ingenuity that existed thousands of years’ ago.

We booked last minute with this tour operator and they managed to fit in our request- including tickets to the museum . Our driver George was polite and friendly- drove safely to our stops. We were picked up from our hotel in Mercedes van - clean, modern and the journey - despite the traffic in and out of Athens- was comfortable. We arrived in Delphi in good time - words cannot describe Delphi- it is a wonder! Having grown up on reading Greek Myths - couldn’t believe I made it here! Our family of 4 enjoyed it too! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Greece.

Our driver, Bill, was great. He arrived early, navigated the early morning traffic like a champ, offered us some waters, stopped off at a scenic vista, gave us interesting facts about Archova and Delphi, recommended an excellent lunch spot in Delphi (our best meal on the entire trip), and got us back to our AirBnB in Athens safely. We’d definitely reserve Bill again as our driver and highly recommend him to anyone looking to check out the Delphi historical site and museum.

Christo was absolutely amazing! Arrived early, provided us with cold waters and a comfortable, safe ride to and from the Temple of Apollo in Delphi. He was personable and knowledgeable about Athens points of interest, Greek history and culture. While we were visiting the temple he even made us lunch reservations at a restaurant in the mountain town of Arachova where we enjoyed a delicious meal with a stunning view before our trip back to Athens. We would definitely recommend Chris to anyone looking for safe reliable transportation for a lengthy day trip or a quick ride across the city.

Nickos was very punctual with a beautiful and comfortable Mercedes van for our private group of four. He waited patiently for a few minutes while we gathered ourselves together. Nicholas explained all about the history of Delphi and some of the myths of the gods and goddesses. He was also a great conversationalist as we asked 1 million questions some of them personal about him and what it’s like to live in Athens, Greece, what was like to grow up in his hometown. Etc. He was very patient with us and shared his own history and stories. Nicos was a safe and very confident driver. He even had cold water bottles for us, which we very much appreciated . He stopped for our comfort about an hour or an hour and a half into the journey up to Delphi. He picked a clean and pleasant stop. And then gave us perfect instructions about our visit to Delphi. We had about two hours in Delphi, which was a good amount of time, perfect for us. Nick was a great communicator. He then took us to a wonderful restaurant in Delphi town. He had made reservations for us at a table right at the windows with a wonderful view, overlooking the mountains down to the Ionian Sea. There were even Grapevines growing up to the window. We had a wonderful lunch there, very relaxed and tasty. They even gave us complementary baklava for dessert, which was some of the best that we’ve had and believe me we’ve tried a number of baklava already in Greece. Then the 2 Hour return Drive to Athens, during a quietly relaxed conversation time. Thank you, Nick for a stress-free day with perfect instructions and driving. You are a real treasure to your agency.

We had an amazing trip to Delphi! The views were spectacular and the site really interesting. Nico was a fantastic guide - an easy pickup directly from our Airbnb followed by a comfortable van ride and a stop for lunch at a taverna overlooking a valley of olive trees. We could not have asked for a better experience. Strongly recommend!
