Itinerario

Our food tour with Carla was incredible and will likely be a highlight of our trip. Carla was extremely knowledgeable and taught us so much about Cusco and Peru. We got to try a wide variety of food with the perfect portion sizes, although definitely go into it hungry!! Excellent value for money with the amount of time, food and essentially walking tour of the city. DO IT!

Today I joined the Gastronomic Tour in Cusco with our guide, Carla, and it was absolutely incredible. The food was delicious, I learned so much about Peruvian cuisine, and the group dynamic made the experience even more enjoyable. At first, it seems like you'll be eating a lot, but the portions are perfectly sized. Between each stop, you take a walk, which gives you time to digest and makes room for the next tasting. They also serve digestive teas and drinks along the way, so you never feel overly full. Carla is a fantastic guide who shares plenty of interesting facts about Peruvian cuisine and culture. She creates a relaxed and fun atmosphere, and the tour never feels rushed. If you're visiting Cusco, I highly recommend this tour. It's a wonderful way to discover the city's food scene while learning about the local culture. :-)

I had a wonderful time on this food tour! I booked it solo and got to meet great people who were so fun to spend the evening with. Carla was a knowledgeable, friendly, and personable tour guide. She answered all our questions and then some! She navigated us through the busy city center during the June celebrations. The spots she chose were delicious - I especially loved the ceviche restaurant and tamale stand she brought us too. Everything went smoothly and we got a good walk and dinner in :) would definitely recommend.
Thank you so much! Carla is one of our very best and she'll love hearing this. Navigating the Historic Center during the June festivities is no small feat, so we're glad it all felt seamless. The ceviche spot and the tamale stand are personal favorites of ours too – always great to know they land well with guests. Hope to see you back in Lima someday. ¡Buen provecho!

We had the chance to join this gastronomic tour and it turned out to be a really enjoyable and memorable experience. From start to finish, everything felt very well organized, and the selection of places visited was thoughtfully curated. Each stop offered something different, allowing us to explore a variety of local flavors and get a better sense of the city’s food scene in a very authentic way. What we appreciated the most was how smooth and relaxed the experience felt. It never felt rushed, and there was a nice balance between tasting, learning, and simply enjoying the moment. You start from the market and go up to San Blas, with a lot of ground covered in between to taste authentic and eat food and visit the city. Our guide Ana was super nice and a bottomless pit of knowledge. Just book and enjoy the flavors and sightseeing!

What an amazing tour! The tour guide Carla met me on time and was super friendly. She gave a lot of information about local history and Peruvian culture through out the tour. She also checked in a lot to make sure the pace of walking and distance felt good since the elevation can be difficult if you’re not used to it! We tried a lot of different foods and I felt that the tour around parts of Cusco will really act as a springboard for my own adventures now that I feel more familiar and comfortable with it. Every place we went was warm and welcoming. I am so glad I did this tour and would recommend it to everyone interested in trying new foods and learning more about Peruvian culture! It was wonderful!
