The crew was great. They were very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. We spent a lot of time looking for whales and saw some sea lions and eagles on the way. At the end of our 4 hour we saw one orca from a distance.
A really nice day on the water in Victoria on August 9th. Saw humpbacks, orcas, sea lions, baldies and other birds. Guides were well positioned around the boat to answer questions and provide insights. Also appreciated having Eagle Wing's photographer on board to ask photography questions. The boat was not excessively crowded which was nice since moving around is a necessity for getting photos. Be careful about sitting on the bow when the boat is heading out of Victoria. It is obviously quite windy and fairly cold, with a little spray along the way. It may be 20-30 minutes before you slow down for the first time, allowing yourself a chance to reposition elsewhere on the boat. I was happy go back inside when we started up again.
Our all female crew, Captain Sierra, Natalie, Emma, Jennifer, and Jaime were personable, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. They made the amazing experience educational as well.
Very knowledgable team on the boat. Great experience where we had the chance to see whales in the wild. Amazing explanations to the wildlife in and around Victoria. Worth the trip.
I finally saw a humpback breach today , thanks to Eagle Wing. I have been going for years, and today was probably the best experience yet. And lots of orcas and two baby orcas. Thank you, Brett,Jamie Natalie, & Liam All The Best To The Team Thomas.
What a moment to finally witness after years of trying, and glad this one topped them all! Thanks so much for sharing, Thomas, and we hope to welcome you back aboard soon. All the best, Tianda
We had an amazing time with Lily on our tour. Eagle Wing is truly a company that cares about the environment and the wildlife. Although seeing whales can never be guaranteed we were fortunate enough to see several pods of Orca. We also had the experience of seeing and following a humpback whale and calf. The calf had a bowie trapped around its mouth and we were fortunate enough to be a part of tracking the pair and ensuring that the calf received help. It was an amazing experience to be a part of. Lily was amazing!!
This adventure was amazing. Our naturalist and captain, Lily was knowledgeable and respectful of wildlife. I appreciate her obvious passion for Whales and the environment, and ensuring this is passed down to the next generation. Saw orcas and humpbacks…along with sea lions and seals. Extended tour not for the faint of heart in the open boat but wonderful for those who enjoying being right on the water.
What a great trip for the adventurous at heart, and so glad Lili's care for wildlife and passion for sharing it really came through! Thanks so much for sharing, and we hope to welcome you back aboard soon. All the best, Tianda

I have been whale watching several times and this by far was the best! The knowledge of the crew as well as the getting to see several orcas AND a humpback. The lighthouse and all the various sea lions rounded out this exquisite morning. Thank you to Captain Rod, Val, SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO: DEREK, CAIO, RYLEIGH AND JAMIE!!
