La tua guida autista ti incontrerà nell'area di prelievo fuori dalla parte anteriore della stazione ferroviaria di Oxford alle 10:00. L'attesa non è consentita nell'area di prelievo quindi arriveranno 5 minuti prima dell'inizio del tour e saranno in piedi con il minibus Mercedes che tiene un cartello verde con scritto Undiscovered Cotswolds. L'area pick up si trova direttamente di fronte alla stazione ferroviaria appena dopo le fermate degli autobus e vicino alla statua del toro di bronzo.
Un vero pezzo forte del tour che vanta un sacco di pietre di Cotswold e tetti di paglia, oltre a mantenere il titolo di essere il villaggio più infestato della regione. Minster Lovell è forse meglio conosciuta per le rovine della sua sala del XV secolo, di proprietà di generazioni della famiglia Lovell. Una vera gemma nascosta!

La nostra prossima fermata è senza dubbio la più famosa città delle Cotswolds e regolarmente ha votato uno dei villaggi più belli dell'Inghilterra; Bourton-on-the-Water. Conosciuta come la 'Venezia dei Cotswolds', c'è molto da vedere e da fare con una ricchezza di attrazioni, negozi, ristoranti e sale da tè. Qui hai tempo libero per esplorare e gustare un po 'di pranzo.
La nostra prossima tappa è il pittoresco villaggio di Lower Slaughter, uno dei villaggi più romantici delle Cotswolds settentrionali e situato nella campagna più sorprendente. I veicoli più grandi non sono ammessi in questo villaggio quindi siamo l'unico tour per piccoli gruppi consentito l'accesso.

It was lovely and never felt rushed despite covering a lot of ground. Low key and relaxed with a wonderful and friendly tour guide.
« Great tour! Six different stops in a full day is fantastic. We were a group of seven people in a comfortable Mercedes minivan. Being in a small group made some areas more accessible, which was great. Our driver-guide, Vince, went the extra mile to show us this beautiful region. After a while, you get used to the very narrow countryside roads, but I would never want to drive there myself! »
This day is an opportunity to discover the most well-known villages of the Cotswolds with a very pleasant guide who provides comments on the history of these villages.
A beautiful walk in the Cotswolds with a cultured, fun, and very friendly guide. Some villages deserved a longer stop, but overall it was a lovely trip.
Great and comfortable way to explore the Cotswolds if you're by yourself and do not have a car. We explored various towns with enough time in each one. The guide was very knowledgeable and kind. Would 100% recommend.

This is not so much a tour as it is transport between Oxford and six different towns/villages. No commentary during the drive between towns, and not a lot of information given. I had done the same tour years ago and it was excellent ... lots of interesting information and anecdotes throughout our journey. I had returned with my adult children, hoping for the same experience. (Also regret that the Mitford church has been dropped from the tournandnalsonthe most idyllic house/church point where we stopped for a photo op -- highlights of our last trip). Previously, our guide walked with us at several points (once taking us over a field!) and we felt we had spent the whole day with someone who loved the Costwolds and wanted to share his enthusiasm. No doubt my disappointment resulted from my high expectations that we would have a similar, intimate experience. However, if you are just looking for a way to reach several of the villages, it's a great choice, as the driving was excellent.

I am very sorry to hear that the tour did not live up to the experience you remembered from your previous visit with us, especially as you had returned with your adult children hoping for the same intimate and enthusiastic day in the Cotswolds. We are disappointed to hear that you felt the day came across more as transport than a guided tour. Our aim is always to provide interesting commentary, local stories and a personal experience, so it is clear that on this occasion we did not meet the standard you expected or the standard we aim to deliver. We do adjust the route from time to time due to access, timings and what works best for the group, but your feedback is very helpful and we will review this carefully. I am pleased to hear that the driving was excellent, but I completely understand that this alone is not what you were hoping for from a guided Cotswolds tour. Brilliant tour of the beautiful quintessential English villages! Ian, our driver and tour guide, was excellent, gave us a lot of interesting information, guided us to the most interesting places, and always gave us enough free time to experience the places ourselves! The tour was in a group of 6, perfect for small-scale touring and a cosy atmosphere. As for the itinerary, it was very well selected, and the times written online were quite accurate. In short, what an amazing experience, highly recommended!
Sonja did a great job. She took us to some wonderful places, including at least one that is not on the normal tour list. She was informative and knowledgeable. My only suggestion is where there was "downtime"-- like time driving from village to village-- she could have shared more local trivia, fun facts, etc., rather than there just being silence.
I truly enjoyed my tour of Cotswold with Ian. He did an amazing job and I was lucky enough to be with a great group of couples on this small group tour I did alone.
