Trip was good. Representative was slightly difficult to find upon arrival and the air conditioning in the car was barely blowing air to the back on the highest setting. Vehicles are dated but, the drivers are kind and drive well. Price point is also a bit steep at $100 one way for 20-30 minute drive.

I would probably pass on using this company again. The positive was that we eventually got to our destination, but the overall experience felt very disorganized. When we arrived, there was no one waiting for us and no sign with our name. We tried calling but didn’t get an answer. After sending a text message, we were told the driver would arrive in 5 minutes. During that time, several independent drivers approached us offering rides. . We likely would have accepted one of those offers, but we had already prepaid $98 for this service. I’m still not sure if our assigned driver ever arrived. Eventually, someone approached us, told us to follow him, and led us to a van that took us to our hotel. While we did make it safely to our destination, the pickup process was confusing and stressful, and I wouldn’t recommend this company based on this experience.

While the replacement driver was on the way, one of our airport representatives personally escorted you from the terminal to the vehicle to ensure you were assisted throughout the process and to make the transition as smooth as possible. We understand that after a long flight, every minute matters, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. Your comments have been shared with our operations team, and we are already improving our dispatch and communication procedures to ensure an even smoother experience for our future guests. We waiting at airport for about 15 minutes, before driver arrived, but it was ok. Once everything got communicated correctly it was all good. The driver was very engaged of getting us to our hotel & very pleasantly. Very much so an experienced driver, we enjoyed the ride. More importantly we made it to our destination safely. Hopefully he will pick us back up on the 7/26/2026 @ 10:00 a.m. from the same hotel and return us back to the Airport.

🚗 This morning we had Jose with Ecotrans take us from Guanacaste to the Liberia airport and he was fantastic! He was prompt and safe. My kids thoroughly enjoyed him and all the knowledge and history he shared with us. 1.5 hours went by quickly! 🐒🐊 ☀️ Wish I knew about him earlier in the trip because I would’ve booked him for every leg of the trip!

Exceptional service from start to finish! José, our driver, was fantastic! He picked us up right on time at the airport and was super friendly throughout the entire trip. He gave us a great introduction to the area on our way to the resort and made us feel incredibly welcome. Booking with Guanacaste Infocenter was a breeze and I highly recommend it!

The transfer was booked from LIR to Tamarindo. Our driver was friendly and open to our requests of stoppings along the way. I wished I had read the pick up details because it took us couple minutes to find our driver out side of the airport.
