Offriamo più di un semplice cioccolato, In primo luogo, il tour del cioccolato inizia con il background culturale e biologico del cacao in Costa Rica. Introduce ulteriormente nella raccolta, fermentazione, macinazione e infine nella fabbricazione del cioccolato, la bevanda degli dei. In secondo luogo, parliamo del caffè e della sua importanza per lo sviluppo economico e culturale della Costa Rica. Disponiamo di uno showroom con importanti strumenti per la raccolta del caffè e una migliore spiegazione del processo di produzione del caffè. Vogliamo mostrarvi come fare Café-Chorreado, la vera pratica costaricana di preparazione del caffè. Tra gli altri metodi di campionamento. Infine, vogliamo soffermarci su uno degli aspetti più importanti della cultura e della tradizione costaricana, le trapiche : un mulino di canna da zucchero, dove si macina la canna da zucchero per estrarne il succo e fare tutti i tipi di caramelle locali e deliziose. Questo è sicuramente il tour più dolce della zona. Abbiamo recentemente aggiunto un ORTO DI PIANTE MEDICINALI AL NOSTRO.

Juan was a fantastic tour guide! We learned so much about chocolate, not just how it's made but differences in quality and what yo look for in the ingredients. He made us three different drinks and we made fruit bowls with chocolate syrup :)

You can not give less than five, Sergio was perfect, very clear in explanations, funny, and very helpful. I had heard about so many tasting experiences but I'm glad I chose this one because I think Sergio makes the difference between chocolate, coffee and sugar and liqueur tasting. Our guide Juan was amazing- full of information, history, and obvious knowledge of the entire process. He made the tour enjoyable and fun, and we definitely left with more appreciation for Costa Rican chocolate and coffee. We were picked up right at the condos we’re staying at and the bus driver & guide on the bus were also very nice and helpful. Great experience!

Sergio was a great guide, very personable and responsive to our tour group, which included 8 people who were all native English-speakers. He presented interesting historical and logistical information in a winsome way. We enjoyed preparing and tasting chocolate with fresh fruit, coffee, and sugar cane. Sergio also conveniently provided comfortable transportation to and from Quepos. Gracias!

Juan is a fantastic guide. We really enjoyed learning about the history of the production of chocolate in CR. Juan really made the tour interesting as he was very friendly, knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for sharing stories and educating his guests. He took his time to explain not only the history of how chocolate was made hundreds of years ago, but also how it's made in present day and the importance of organic farming and the health benefits of chocolate. We were not rushed, and encouraged to ask questions and take our time to enjoy the delicious samples. Juan, thank you for making this tour a highlight of our first trip to Costa Rica.
