We had to talk to the ticket desk after they couldn’t scan our QR code at the entrance. We never did figure out why, but that took some extra time. The most disappointing part was that the audio tour didn’t go with the artwork in the galleries. Maybe they moved many art pieces? I ended up just using the Chicago Art Institute app numbers on some of the art pieces.
needed more prior info on ticket process. we had the audio tour which I’ve never done and ended up not using it at all. Fees were unclear for admission ticket and adding audio. more resting benches would have been good because of the amount of people in the museum so we left earlier than we wanted. cafe was over crowded. We stayed 3 hrs and didn’t see everything. Beautiful building and everyone was on their best behavior.
My ticket that I purchased here DID NOT WORK. The customer service rep says Viator was still working out the kinks
