Tour dell'architettura di Chicago: Pedway sotterraneo e il Loop

Excellent tour with Heath. A great trip for people new to living in Chicago but also of value to a tourist who has family living in the city. I learned tips about how to get around in Chicago, saw a few beautiful building interiors and gained appreciation for Chicago history and some basic city planning tidbits. Meeting spot was easy to find but be aware that the tour ends at a different location than starting spot. There is a lot of walking and stairs but at a very doable pace. I actually ended up using a portion of the pedway to get back to public transit! The pedway signs can be difficult to spot so it was helpful to know how to spot them . I think this tour is very relevant/helpful for people who travel to Chicago a lot or who live here. I learned a lot, but for someone wanting to get an overall view first look of Chicago, there are other tours for that. I really enjoyed this tour and the time went quickly. It was mostly indoors so a good tour to do when weather is bad.

Great tour. Guide knowledgeable and fun

My daughter and I took the Chicago Architecture Tour: Underground Pedway & Secrets of the Loop this Tuesday while we were downtown for the day. We’re from the suburbs but had never heard about the pedway, so we figured it might be interesting. Our tour guide, Heath, was an outstanding! He was able to weave Chicago history, people, architecture, and artwork into a captivating tour about the pedway. Without him, we would have gotten lost in the pedway and had no idea about why it is so special and unique. We have walked away with a new understanding of what makes Chicago “Chicago”, and received some cool dining, drink, and shopping recommendations along the way. We highly recommend this tour if you have the time.

Talk about the unknown. The Pedway experience opened a whole new world that was so uniquely Chicago. I’ve always heard about the underground and my grandmother using it to stay out of the elements on the way to work. Our guide, Spencer, is as knowledgeable and energetic. Well done

Took the Chicago Pedway Tour with Heath and really enjoyed it! I had no idea the underground pedestrian system was so extensive. Heath was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the Pedway. It’s a fun, different way to see Chicago, especially if you want to escape the weather or see the Loop from a totally new angle. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something off the beaten path!

This isn’t a mobster or closed metro tunnel tour. Despite this it was very interesting. Minimal bathroom breaks.

I took the “Chicago's Underground Pedway & Other Secrets of the Loop” tour, and I really enjoyed it. The guide was great. He is an architect who has actually worked on the design of several Chicago skyscrapers. He was very passionate, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. I would definitely recommend it.
