Margherita is a breath of fresh air. I chose going to the market with her and learned so much about how the market works and the different stands and their products. Her home is lovely! We made fresh frittata, tortelloni, and tiramisu together. We shared life stories and the meal we cooked. Thank you Margherita!

Margherita was lovely. She speaks English fluently and took us to the market prior to our cooking began. We learned some interesting facts along the way and very much enjoyed walking the streets, seeing the shops and fresh vegetables. Her home is intimate and inviting and very organized for the food we were to make. We made a frittata, tortelloni and tiramisu. She had the steps timed out well to have a steady flow of activity and food being ready at the proper time without feeling rushed. Nothing was too difficult but did learn some tips, techniques and tricks that I’m grateful for as well as the delicious recipes themselves. We created a wonderful meal and are so glad to have booked this opportunity with Margherita. Time well spent and a great memory we’ll take with us!

Margherita walked us through the quadrilatero market while also giving us helpful information for our stay in Bologna. Then we returned to her home to create a delicious lunch of tortelloni, frittata and tiramisu. She was a very warm and talented hostess. A wonderful experience!
Margherita was an excellent host. She has a warm personality and her presentation was very organized. Her home was beautiful and her instructions were clear. We enjoyed a delicious lunch of tortelloni and tiramisu that was of our own making. We highly recommend this class.
This cooking class was perfect for my extended family! Margherita was very welcoming and willing to accommodate 4 adults with a 13 month old baby for dinner. Not only did we learn how to make delicious Bolognese ragu with pasta and tiramisu, but we had a wonderful and intimate cultural exchange experience that will never be forgotten. I highly recommend this cooking class.

Margherita was Very Gracious
Loads of fun. Margherita’s home is warm and welcoming. Delicious meal - did some pasta rolling, made tiramisu, learned some correct pronunciation of Italian. A lovely, delightful evening.
Margherita not only taught us delicious recipes, her warm welcome and pride for her city made touring the market an unforgettable experience. She is a true gem in this historic city. The venue is also a one-of-a-kind opportunity to get to know Bologna on a local, non-touristy level.
