Il nostro tour inizierà nel vivace cuore di Bologna, in Piazza Maggiore. Qui, la magnifica Basilica di San Petronio domina la piazza con la sua grandiosità, mentre la particolare statua di Nettuno aggiunge un tocco di mitologia alla scena. Da Piazza Maggiore, ci dirigeremo verso lo storico Archiginnasio, un tesoro di segreti e storie centenarie. All'interno delle sue antiche sale, entreremo nel suggestivo Teatro Anatomico, dove gli studenti di medicina si riunivano per imparare le particolarità del corpo umano. Questa parte di tour ti permetterà di immergerti nel passato di questa città e capire come sia sempre stata fondamentale per gli studi. Continuando la nostra esplorazione, arriveremo al Mercato Quadrilatero, caratterizzato da un'atmosfera vivace. Qui, in mezzo al labirinto di stradine strette e bancarelle affollate, vedrete molte botteghe che vendono deliziosi formaggi, salumi e altro ancora. Il tour inizia vicino a Piazza Maggiore. Questa piazza sarà la prima tappa del tour. Piazza Maggiore è la piazza principale di Bologna ed è circondata da diversi edifici e monumenti storici di cui la guida ti racconterà ogni cosa.
La Basilica di San Petronio, situata in Piazza Maggiore, è la più grande ed importante chiesa di Bologna. Entrerai qui e potrai ammirare tutti gli affreschi e le particolarità di questo luogo sacro.
L'Archiginnasio è uno degli edifici più importanti della città. È situato nel centro storico e oggi è il luogo in cui si trova la biblioteca municipale e il teatro anatomico. Questo posto di lascerà senza parole grazie alle decorazioni degli archi con stemmi storici.
Il teatro anatomico, situato all'interno dell'Archiginnasio, è una tappa must do a Bologna. Questa sala era dedicata agli studi di anatomia grazie alla forma a teatro della sala.
La zona del Quadrilatero è una delle più movimentate, un quartiere storico nel cuore di Bologna. Questa zona è ottima per trovare ogni bontà tipica della tradizione culinaria bolognese.

Benedetta took us on a wonderfully interesting tour of some of the central historical sites in Bologna. She was incredibly friendly and very welcoming of questions and conversation. She covered the general history of the city, we visited the Basilica, the old Bilblioteca and some of the market streets. We had a great time and would recommend her tours wholeheartedly.

It did seem to cover all of the basics in Bologna centre including the anatomical theatre and main cathedral. The guide talked about the history of location and places Improvements, the guide never introduced himself, we started late so it felt rushed, the audio didn’t work so it was hard to hear and the guide didn’t try to make up for it, his accent was heavy so speaking more slowly would have helped.

Absolutely wonderful guide that managed to condense history of Bologna into tasty tidbits with lots of interaction. Small group especially helpful when navigating major tourist sites. A great intro to the town. Best guide ever.
One of our favorite city tours. Our guide was engaging, knowledgeable and had a nice sense of humor. The tour was relaxed and paced well. Like any major city tour , getting history into a two hour tour is challenging since only the highlights can be covered. This tour does this well and should be considered as a starting point for a visit to Bologna.
