Un modo perfetto per scoprire i segreti nascosti della fortezza di Belgrado e la sua storia lunga e vivida è esplorarne il sottosuolo. Il primo è il pozzo romano, costruito nel XVIII secolo, che rappresenta l'eredità dell'epoca austriaca. Molti misteri sono collegati a questo luogo e il fatto interessante è che era il posto preferito di Alfred Hitchcock a Belgrado. Il tour continua al bunker dell'esercito - dal tempo della guerra fredda dopo la seconda guerra mondiale, dove imparerai alcuni dei giochi politici del presidente Tito tra i grandi paesi. La terza tappa è il magazzino della polvere da sparo, dove avrai la possibilità di toccare le pareti della grotta che gli austriaci costruirono come parte della fortezza che fungeva da difesa dell'Europa cristiana contro l'impero turco. Questo magazzino è anche un luogo espositivo dove vedrai sarcofagi e altari raccolti da diversi siti archeologici sul territorio serbo. Il tour termina con un bicchiere di vino locale sulla riva del fiume Sava.

Our tour guide, Novi, was outstanding, and he provided a rich and engaging introduction to key moments in Belgrade’s history, the sparkling wine at the end was delightful.

The tour is not for anyone who cannot climb many stairs comfortably. There is a lot of historical information.
The name of the tour doesn’t justify. The experience is much beyond the underground tours. It’s about the history of Serbia, the fortress, etc. The guide was very passionate and gave us plenty of time and information to learn. The walk around the fortress was nice and you wouldn’t need a separate fortress tour. Wine at the end of the tour was at a nice bar at the river promenade, not a mediocre wine experience. Given all these, the tour is considered incredibly cheap.
