Itinerario
Visita KL Auschwitz 1.

We have booked in advance and we knew that time could change a bit. But we have received email a day before at 9 in the evening! There was change not only about time, but also meeting point! Unfotunately we do not read emails at 9 evening! We have tried to reach them in the morning to check the meeting point, but unfortunately it is impossible - they are not answering emails, and they do not answer the phone! That is totally unprofesional to change everything night before and then not to double confirm with customers. We have paid almost 250 eur, but we do not know what do to and we exactly we need to go. I am trying to call them, but no luck. It looms like scam company.
A product was offered and a different one was sold. A complaint about this was rejected via email within minutes.
Lots of effort put into this, and organized. Tough subject. But covered objectively, with facts. We went in 33 degree heat and the tour guide was very professional, and seemed unbothered by it.
Seek for another tour! Horrible. Our guide was slow, spoke almost understandable English and when it was understandable she repeated the same things over and over. The cherry on the top was that the guide we had to bear for the whole time coughed and sneezed to the mic all the time. We chose to escape the tour as soon as possible and created a better experience with internet sources (there are plenty) at Birkenau. I would steer away from this one unless my life was at stake.
10/10 Everybody should Go and See this place once in their Lifetime. Our Guide was great and the Tour well organized.
Very good guide who explained everything very well. We had booked this tour because of time but day before the tour was suddenly brought forward from 10:00 to 05:45!!! Really ridiculous. Afterwards it was okay but gave a set on the tour. Furthermore good mini of with enough legroom.
Basic knowledge about WW II and german concentration camps is necessary to „feel“ it in the right way.
Unfortunately, the booked tour was cancelled the night before at 8.30pm! There was also no alternative offered, such as a tour in English, which I asked explicitly for in the evening. Very annoying! I should have been warned about some reviews.
A weird feeling that this has become too much of a tourist attraction. The guiding was very lack lustre, to be polite, with the headphone quality inadequate. We gave up with the guide and just did our own tour. We only started to feel the horror of it all over the following two days when we had time to contemplate what we had seen. The death wall has been turned into a shrine wish deflected thoughts away from the stark horror of the killings The history of the Jewish quarter and ghetto in Krakow added to the whole appalling story.
We had booked a guided tour of Auschwitz two months in advance and organized our entire trip to Krakow around this tour. The day before (in the afternoon), the agency announces the outright cancellation of our tour. The only “solution” proposed: • a ride on another day (impossible for us due to our flights) • or visits in languages we do not speak, such as German. No serious alternative, no commercial gesture, no help to find another solution when cancellation comes entirely from their side. This is a total lack of professionalism and respect for customers. When you book such an important activity, months in advance, you expect at least reliability. If you want to visit Auschwitz serenely, do not take a tour with this agency. You may end up without a visit overnight.
