Itinerario
Il Museo Etnografico dell'Università di Addis Abeba è ospitato nell'ex palazzo dell'imperatore Haile Selassie.
Qui, visiteremo lo scheletro di uno dei nostri più antichi antenati ominidi, Lucy, vissuto 3,2 milioni di anni fa!
Al mattino, saliremo sul Monte Entoto attraverso gli alberi di eucalipto e vedremo una vista spettacolare di Addis Abeba dall'alto. Mentre sul Monte Entoto, visiteremo anche la Chiesa di Entoto Maryam, il palazzo originale dell'imperatore Menelik II.
Ci fermeremo brevemente alla chiesa di San Giorgio sulla strada per Merkato!
Dopo la Santa Trinità, visiteremo poi la cripta dell'imperatore Menelik, che è sepolto con sua moglie e sua figlia, nella tranquilla chiesa di Bata Miriam.
Concludiamo la giornata al vivace Merkato, il più grande mercato all'aperto dell'Africa!

Daniel was an incredibly good tour guide. He tailored the tour to what I was interested in exploring. He is very knowledgeable on the historical facts, plus he gave me a little parting gift. I really appreciate his dedication.
Daniel and his driver friend Ahati did a wonderful job of guiding me through the city, slowing down to allow me to get pictures of monuments and adding in a museum (the Red Terror Museum) at my request. Daniel had good knowledge of the content without being too overwhelming. Communication was good and they even arrived at my hotel early. I totally recommend this tour as a time efficient way to visit the most important sites of Addis Ababa as navigating the traffic on your own would be difficult as a visitor.
Had an amazing day tour of Addis Ababa with Daniel. He was very flexible and customized the itinerary to my interests and availability. He knows the city very well and patiently explained everything about the sites we visited in detail. He was also open to making stops along the way as per my wish, such as restaurants and coffee shops. If you are looking for a knowledgeable guide who can navigate and show you around the city in leisure, I highly recommend him. I will certainly book again with him on my next visit to Ethiopia!

Daniel is an excellent tour guide. We went to the national museum of Ethiopia, the Ethnological museum and also to Beta Maryam Church where we were able to see the tomb of Menelik II Daniel was a great companion for the tour, with his perfect English and knowledge of Ethiopian history. What an amazing day in Addis Abbaba. Daniel was able to arrange for me to visit the cellar in the Mariam Church were I could view some amazing artifacts. His knowledge of the area is first class, he speaks excellent English and I highly recommend his services!
