Questo viaggio ti porta nel sud dell'Etiopia per incontrare e condividere l'esperienza della gente della valle dell'Omo. Ispirate dal loro ambiente di alberi selvatici, fiori esotici e vegetazione lussureggiante, queste tribù usano trucchi colorati, gialli brillanti, bianchi sorprendenti e ricchi rossi terrosi creati dal terreno argilloso. La valle dell'Omo è una delle regioni tribali più ricche di cultura del continente africano. Indossano accessori sgargianti e brillanti decorazioni per la testa per diventare un corpo artistico ambulante. Come una celebrazione di se stessi, si dipingono reciprocamente i corpi e prendono decisioni audaci sui loro abiti motivati dal puro divertimento di creare e sfoggiare ad altri membri della tribù.

Itinerario
Giorno 1: vola ad Arbaminch e poi partecipa a un safari culturale per esplorare un autentico villaggio Dorze sulle montagne che sovrastano Arbaminch. Scopri di più sul popolo Dorze. Giorno 2: safari in barca sul lago Chamo, quindi trasferimento a Turmi. Visita di un villaggio Konso locale e dei mercati di Keyafer (giovedì) e Dimeka (sabato). Giorno 3: Viaggio al villaggio di Karo noto per la scarificazione della pelle e le decorazioni ornamentali, poi al villaggio di Nyangatom. Nel pomeriggio visita al villaggio della tribù Hamer. Giorno 4: Visita al villaggio della tribù Dassenech nella città di Omorate vicino al fiume Omo. Ritorno a Turmi, trasferimento a Jinka, visita del villaggio della tribù Ari, del Museo etnografico dell'Omo meridionale e dei mercati di Keyafer (giovedì) e Dimeka (sabato). Giorno 5: attraversa il Parco Nazionale Mago fino al villaggio della tribù Mursi. Rientro a Jinka, volo di ritorno ad Addis per la cena d'addio e partenza.

The tour is well organized, pickup staff is always on time and most of the hotels used are amazing. The Omo Valley is a must see region. I highly recommend this provider as a best in class. The days are so well planned, you are not overly tired at the end. Very happy with my tour.

Wonderful experience, beautiful city, best tour guide Henok. He takes great photos as well, explained every history of the city and took me to wonderful places. A 10/10 in my opinion

We had a 9 hours layover and we needed a tour of the place. Henok knows so much about this place. He even took us to one of the local house to have Njera. It was the best and Henok is very welcoming and he answered all the questions we had. He also took us to have coffee in exactly how the past generations used to have it. I will definitely recommend him as a tour guide for Addis Ababa day trip

Took a personalized 12 day tour with gishbay tours. Absolutely fabulous. Everything organized to perfection. Wherever we were all the lodges were excellent. Local people were so excited to greet us and offer us coffee in their homes. This is a beautiful contry with wonderful people. I feel blessed to have allowed to go there. Must mention my wonderful guide Gabriel. He was caring, helped this old lady over rocks and up steps. He was also a great companion, knowledgeable and caring. I consider him a brother. Don't be afraid to go to see this amazing country , you will never regret it.

Very nice adventure in Ethiopia for a small group of 7 French Contact with Yenew before and during the perfect stay , very professional person and attentive to our expectations , Good Welcoming and good travel organization .
